One of the most amazing card shops I’ve ever been to. I love yugioh and David is serious about yugioh! He immediately offered my friend and me water/soda when we walked in asked for our names. He’s got a fantastic collection of modern and vintage yugioh. I cannot wait to go back!

This is the first card shop I’ve been to in San Diego. Great collection of cards this place has almost everything you need to get you started on your collection or make any deck in any format. The store owner is also friendly offering you your choice of free water or soda along with the store being pet friendly. However, as far as pricing goes I don’t highly agree with simply because they’re not based on TCGplayer which more TCG shops utilize now & it’s more understandable on both parties for a better deal. The prices for most of the cards he sells are inaccurately based on sites like ebay. I’ve been coming here many times but failed to realize that I’ve been paying more than what the cards are actually worth despite the discount the owner gives me right after. For example, you could be buying cards that would total $500 with a discount but in reality it’s only worth $200. Furthermore, based on my experience the store owner pressures you to buy these cards immediately when you’re not ready to purchase it yet with these exaggerated prices. Although I wouldn’t tell the store owner how to run his business, I would suggest following up & using prices based on TCGplayer. Lastly the store owner isn’t quite reliable as far as promises & deals are made. He’ll either end up losing a few of the cards he’s holding for you or ends up reselling it again or selling it to another party who has the money when you’re not around. Finally despite the plethora of cards the owner has, most of the single cards he has in stock are very unorganized so it’s hard to find cards that are probably in his shop that your looking for. In closing, this is why I give the store a 3 out of 5. I’ll still come by & visit but I will not go here as much as I use to unless the store changes for the better.

I wish I could give 6 stars. Everything about this shop is great. They are friendly, they give you free drink, they take their time to get the Yugioh singles and honestly give good prices. I am so glad I drove out here from my hotel to give cards, I hope others will come here and support the father-son duo that run this card shop.

The best Yugioh card shop in San Diego hands down. You need to walk up the stairs to find the highly loved shop.

Probably the best place for playing/collecting Yugioh cards. David is the owner and he is super friendly and makes you feel so welcomed as soon as you walk in. He even offered me a free soda and to just hang out. They just moved to a new spot which is bigger and has several tables to let people duel. The collection of singles is amazing and their prices are fair. I rather support a local business trying to bring the community together to play a fun game then a random online shop. This is a also a locals official store so come out and play on tournament days, and they also do free play. Ive been in twice and bought several cards to help update my deck and both times the place was packed with friendly people dueling and trading cards. Fridays you get 25% off singles, what an amazing deal! Bottom line, if you play/collect yugioh come visit San Ysidro games. There is always someone to duel and a great place to hang out and look at their great collection of cards. I live in east county and this store is a bit of a drive for me, but its totally worth it.
