Great game store, plus an extensive game library available for in-store play ($5/hour)

I started visiting Sage's Portal nine months ago (mid 2025) to join my first D&D 5.5e campaign. Alex was a great DM and I made friends and came to enjoy the other friendly staff. I'm now playing at my second DnD 5.5e campaign run by Eric, and we're having a blast. Prices for playing a TTRPG are very reasonable ($10-$15 per session which are about three+ hours). As a local game store, or LGS, I and other players often try to show our support and appreciation by buying snacks, packs, or other goods here. I recommend the wonton plate and the jasmine tea for two which are both incredible value for the price and quite tasty. I also see the Boba tea and pork bao as popular options enjoyed by others. I only have experience visiting in the weekday evenings, but the atmosphere is always lively. The store is clean and the ambiance is fun. The owner and staff are seem invested in the experience of their customers and I always feel welcome. Hope to see you here soon.

What must I say about this place. A lovely friendly staff to an interactive and commendable ambience where one can not only have an amazing date night but also can mingle with other people from the community and have a splendid time. The food being totally fresh, the drinks made to perfection and a mouth watering taste. Will definitely come to this place again. Whether you want to kill some time or just hang out with a few friends or make new friends this place is just perfect for you. Love this place. Thank you!!!😊

Fun spot! Food, beer, fun drinks/treats, games, community, cool nerdy shit - what’s not to like! Loved the Sticky Note of the Month idea where you can doodle a picture and be entered to win a gift card. Prices were very reasonable. Just visiting Spokane and already hoping to come back!

Super clean and nicely stocked board game room with a great selection of dice, board games for rent, and well-lit spacious tables to play or compete. Fresh baked goods (the brownie was excellent and served warmed up) and other snacks. Don't miss the downstairs ($5) board game library rentals.
