Made a 6 hour round trip weekend visit to Sioux Falls, partly to part with some of my collectibles I no longer felt as attached to and in addition to the extremely low ball offer made (probably a quarter of what I could've made selling them through ebay), I was also told by the associate, "here's your beer money," upon receiving the cash, which only felt like salt rubbed in the wound after making the drive and accepting significantly less than their market value. I should've said, "more like textbook money, jerk." Will not be returning even just to shop, which says a lot given this is clearly a place to buy rather than sell. I'm surprised this place has such good reviews given how disrespectful the associate was to me.

Honest review of this place. I have been going here for 20 plus years. I have always had mixed reviews of this business for years. I have bought everything football cards, storage for comics, funkos, figures, hobby boxes. I have sold to this place i have gotten great offers and terrible offers. I have had bad service and great service. Seems like the countless times I have been in there employees have a hard time checking their attitude at the door or they had a bad customer ruin their day and they can't seem to get over it whatever it is I would honestly never give this place 5 stars. They do not have much competition in sioux falls. Yes I get their is online but people like me are very picky on how the box looks. Since it is hard to trust fedex, ups, uses to handle packages with care. You get left with options like this store. Its not the best option but it is not a terrible option either. That is my perspective on this place.

I went to trade 9 Funko pops that are common and some that would sell quicker. I had some questions and was trying to get a better understanding since it was my first time EVER trading and downgrading my collection to get more focused pops. So I was curious on the whys and how’s the trade process worked and the guy was pretty rude about it. I was thinking on the trade and went back to ask more questions to again get a better understanding and he was frustrated and said I can just take my lot back. So I did. Then as I was putting them back in my bag the unnecessary comments were made. “Choose your addiction carefully next time” which is disrespectful since tomorrow 4/12 will be 5 years of remaining sober and changing my life. I even have a huge sleeve of the serenity prayer on my arm so I’m not sure if that was intentional or not. The 2nd comment was “You can try and sell those but when you can get your money right and afford this I’m not sure it’ll still be here” which is derogatory. I’m not sure if it’s cause I’m Hispanic with face tattoos trading Funko pops to insist I couldn’t afford $80 for a pop. I was going to end up buying the pop and sell my other pops on eBay but after those 2 comments were made I’m more than sure I will never be coming back to this shop and I’ll be sure to inform others how my experience went. I’ve gone there countless times to buy Funkos and loved your location but I can’t support a business such as yours when those comments were made to me. Hopefully they can learn from these comments as we’re living in a world of hate right now.

How could I not give a 5 out of five stars! I went in there today as a 12-year old boy (in a 40-year-old body) with adult money! They have such an awesome selection of comics and action figures. I was only planning on spending about 20 minutes in there. Pretty sure that was an hour and a half. Staff is super friendly and they really know their stuff. They had no problem discussing comics from my childhood, and knew more about it than I did. Really appreciate the service and the wide selection of stuff that they have. I'm so glad that they are available to have a business like this, and keep it operational for so long.

Visited for the first time this weekend. My son is a huge Marvel fan and we are starting his comic collection. Everything we look for online seems to have a lot of DC and Marvel combined which is fine but to start with I would like to have the ones he really likes the most. Anyway, this place did NOT disappoint. It has so many comics to go through plus figurines and baseball cards and so many other treasures. Its very large inside and has a lot to look at. We found a nice amount to start his collection and cannot wait to go back and bring our son. These are a surprise for his bday. The staff is amazing. They are super laid back and very friendly. They had this rack of free comics they told us to check out which was awesome. The place was pretty busy too which was great to see. Parking is a little different. The lot is pretty small, but there is availability on the street next to the bldg which is off the main road so not as much traffic. We will be back many more times.
