Press Play Cards

Very helpful, and very honest, I went in to look at their one piece singles, fair prices and when I gave them my trade binder to look at them told me what they would give me the most money for and even gave me advice on what to hold onto because what they would give me isn’t worth it. It was my first time at their shop but I would 100% recommend them. I think prices were around market on tcgplayer which is the best you can ask for now a days.

Great friendly shop with great prices. Supply is getting better for msrp product with every release. Otherwise sealed packs are usually very competitive compared to other shops. Single prices are reasonable and where you expect them to be. Actual fans of pokemon and they try to get everyone some product as best as they can. Only downside is their small shop which is limiting to their ability to host larger events greater than 12/14 people when it is confined to indoor only but that is out of their control. They are who you want other LCS to be especially in NYC.

Literally my favorite cardshop in nyc. Good vibes, great store owner + folks who work there, decent prices and even sells msrp (with limits) to make sure everyone gets items on launch days. Couldn’t ask for anything more. pick ups + pulls @ the shop

Update - Thanks for the response Maurice but I don’t understand your points here. If your goal is to get the product to as many people as possible then why are you “saving” the product for a later date and not letting new customers buy it that day? The same people that had the ability to come today in the morning will be the ones to come at that later mentioned date to purchase it again! While I appreciate your effort to try and get this to as many people as possible, I fail to understand the point of not selling to someone that hasn’t been able to obtain it in the first place. A friend of mine told me he was able to buy a chaos rising booster box in the evening which was surprising since they sell at msrp on release days. I was able to come at around 6:40 to buy one but to my surprise they refused to sell me one even though they had the stock. I’ve come here before to buy packs and singles and have supported this shop since its opened. It’s great that the owner even does msrp pricing on launches but as someone who was only able to get 2 bundles only this drop, this seriously left a bad taste for me. If you’re going to promise msrp on launch AND have the stock, why are you refusing a loyal customer? I understand you can refuse a sale at any moment but it’s really is a bad look when it seems like you’re just trying to protect profits at that point. Unfortunate encounter but I guess that’s how business works around here.

This is hands down one of the best Pokémon card stores I’ve ever visited. The selection is amazing! From the newest sets to rare singles and classic cards, they have it all. Everything is well organized, and you can tell they truly care about the quality of the cards they sell. Prices are fair and competitive, and I’ve always received my orders quickly and safely packaged. The owner is super knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to answer questions or help track down a specific card. Whether you’re a serious collector or just starting out, this is the perfect place to shop for Pokémon cards. Highly recommend!
