Play and Talk - Gulfport

I stopped here on my way back home. I had never been to this type of store but was told if I was over this way, I needed to go. My husband and I have just recently got into Pokémon to learn how to play and about the hobby. First off, this store is amazing and overwhelming. Huge selection. The staff were so knowledgeable and kind to me. I had no idea what I was really looking for. But I spoke with a very nice gentleman with glasses. (I'm sorry I did not catch his name.) He was so helpful and not pushy. And I ended up getting a cool set that had a few packs for us to open. I will definitely come back to visit. Thank you so much! For the kindness and knowledgeable. I really appreciate it. Wish I took more pics!

Always nice to come in here. Wide variety of things to see from games new and old, figures, model kits, books, manga, plushes and cards. Staff have always seemed very nice to me.

Prize box are to die for! We’ve won 2 keys in one day. Also the non-key prizes are equal value to what you pay for a key. It’s like gambling for the whole family. If you have a membership you get some product at discounted price.

**SELLERS BEWARE** I brought in a plethora of gently-used and well-maintained consoles and games to try and get some cash, but I felt I was extremely lowballed for the quality of items I have. I assumed based on the price chart they have posted in their store that we’d get comparable pricing to that, but we were not offered anything remotely close on anything to what they advertise. If you’re needing quick cash, this is a decent place for that. If you’re trying to get a reasonable value on your items, you’d be better off trying to sell things on Facebook Marketplace or EBay.

Really like this store, easily the best selection of Pokémon cards I’ve found outside of a huge city. They have bulk of basically every major card game which is pretty unique and they have a great novelties section as well. If you’re doing a lot of bulk searching there aren’t any chairs or anything like I’ve seen in other stores so best to do it in stints.
