Let me explain clearly: I’ve gone to the store twice to buy cards, and they told me, "We don't have any; we sold them all." I don't have a problem with that—I'm glad sales are going well for them. My issue is that they tell you to join the Discord to see posts about when stock arrives, but it seems like there's a select group with special privileges. I called the store to ask if they had stock, and they said, "No, we don't even have any for ourselves." Then, I went there after work and saw an employee opening a box containing booster boxes—just for himself. We want to enjoy the game too.

I love the place. I love the vibe. The owner is nice even though he's a busy guy; He tries to interact with the customers on a level most places don't understand. This place feels like a hidden gem. Their prices are reasonable, their workers are kind, they just try more than most people would think to give them credit for.

Helpful polite employees. Wonderful selection of warhammer related products. Decent selection of other products. The store was busy with players having fun. It felt very cluttered.

I called the store over the weekend to ask if they had Pokémon cards, and I had a really pleasant conversation with one of the employees. He told me to stop by after 6 PM on Wednesday or Saturday, and said he’d be able to help put my name down and reserve some ETBs specifically the Chaos Rising ETB. On Monday, I stopped in to browse, and the smell in the store was honestly overwhelming. At some point there needs to be a deodorant check at the door because it’s not doing the stereotype any favors. The place was dark and dirty, i guess it fits the vibe if I wanted to walk into an episode of goblin slayer. While looking around, I noticed a Perfect Order ETB. The employee told me it was reserved, but the customer hadn’t picked it up yet. I asked how much they were selling it for, and he said $65 if I was interested. I already own a Perfect Order ETB, so I passed. I also asked how reservations worked, and then I was told reservations were only available for veterans going overseas. So I came back Wednesday after 6 PM to speak with the employee I originally talked to, only to be told they don’t do reservations at all and that nobody knew what I was talking about. The GM also confirmed they don’t take reservations. Glad I wasted 30 minutes driving out to this place. If you’re looking for a better experience, check out One Drop Game Shop or Legendary Crits Lounge instead — both places treated me like an actual customer instead of a nuisance.

I had a very disappointing experience buying a high-end collectible card from Pink Elephant Games and Cafe. Before purchasing, I specifically asked the seller if there were any scratches on the numbered plate of the card because condition is extremely important for collectors. I was told there were no scratches and was sent a photo confirming this. After the card arrived, I recorded the opening and immediately inspected it. The card has multiple visible scratches on the numbered plate that were not visible in the photo I was sent and directly contradict what I was told before purchasing. When I reached out to resolve the issue, I offered what I felt were two very reasonable options: a replacement card in true Near Mint condition or a partial refund so I could keep the card despite the flaws. Instead of working toward a fair solution, the seller escalated the issue and insisted the only acceptable resolution was that I return the card for a refund. The problem with that is the card’s market price has increased significantly since the purchase. When I bought it for around $600 there were multiple comparable listings available. Those listings are now gone and the card is selling for around $1,000, meaning returning it would leave me unable to obtain a comparable card at the price I originally paid. As a collector, accurate condition descriptions are critical. Being told there were no scratches and then receiving a card with obvious scratches is extremely frustrating. I’m currently working through the issue with TCGplayer, but based on this experience I would strongly recommend that other buyers request very clear photos and be cautious when purchasing high-value cards from this seller.
