Went in for Magic The Gathering for the first time at this store and the community is definitely developing great! The people are still relatively new to TCGs but this place also offer War Gaming things while i'm not heavy into war games it's awesome to see the passionate players paint and build their armies. They offer food and tea which is super unique for a game store and the owner and workers are all so welcoming and friendly. Good mixture of competitive and casual environments and excited to see how the community grows

Some really great options for model building/painting. Awesome staff that answered questions and gave guidance on how to do a variety of techniques. We will return!

Updated 11/25: Do you ever realize you need some miniatures, some wargaming, and a noodle bowl but only want to go to exactly one place to get all of them? Somehow I have good news for you. In addition to a great stock of wargames, painting supplies and other standard staples, Pile of Games now serves food. Good food. So now you truly can just live at your favorite local gamestore, at least until Pete makes you go home. Original review: What a great shop. Welcoming layout and vibe, and hands down one of the best selections you'll find for miniature painting supplies. Wide selection of Games Workshop miniatures in particular, and a great selection of terrain-laden tables. Pete the owner is a solid guy, and if you need advice about painting techniques or what supplies to get your models to the next level he's a wealth of knowledge. I'll absolutely be back often.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Helped me with basing my death guard army. They have a great selection of hobby materials I have not else where in the city.

Love this shop! My boyfriend and I just got into Dungeons and Dragons, we walked in looking for mini figures to paint. The staff there were able to help us pick out some pieces and gave us some great tips and tricks for painting. These are the first ever figures we painted and we were so excited by how well they turned out. Can't wait to come back the next time we have a urge to paint!
