Petrie's Family Games

Went here for the first time!!!! Cute!!!! Little tight walking in but had a lot of games! Great collection!!! We went to the back where we saw cards are being sold. We were looking for pokemon for our son birthday. We noticed they had some etbs etc… (Whatever they are called haha) we asked the worker if she had some and if we could see. She told us “no” and proceeded to move product in front of what was clearly there. Stood in front of the cabinet. Which fine ok cool. My issue was lying. We see it etc.. I understand companies work differently, have rules etc… but don’t lie. Tell me what’s up and I can completely understand. How she handled it wasn’t welcoming and we will not be back.

Phenomenal shop! We send all sorts of Board Gamers here!!! How we give stars: 1-Star - Scalpers in disguise of a game shop 2-Stars - No Play spaces for gamers and product(s) is slightly better than Online Prices 3-Stars - No Play spaces & Sells at MSRP or very near MSRP prices 4-Stars - Gamers can game and product(s) at slightly better than online prices 5-Stars - Gamers can game & products are near MSRP

This is a very nice place if you're looking to buy cards for magic the gathering fun games for family or dragons and dungeon stuff they honestly had a wide variety of many other things that I can remember off the top of my head but it was a very fun and nice place. The only downside is they don't open until 12:30, that's okay they also had a huge room where you could go ahead and just play board games that they had already opened with your kids and stuff or do one on one matches if you wanted to do that in general wonderful location and wonderful place the staff was also very nice we have to go back twice because we didn't get enough card stuff and they were very helpful and sweet I would highly recommend if you live in the area.

If you look in the dictionary on the definition of what a Mom & Pop shop is, then you'll likely find Petrie's Game shop 🤣. Seriously, this shop is AWESOME 💯. It's small, but cozy. It doesn't have that crowded feeling and there is a huge open game room next door that you can go play for fun or come on their even nights. Tons of games to choose from, ranging from puzzles, family games, complex games, table top gaming, figures and lots of different trading card games. I work next door and even though I'm not a huge card game guy or board games, I still love coming over to look and sometimes dabble in something new. Plus the staff is super friendly. 10 / 10 recommend that you at least come to this shop at least once!
