One Up TCG Tuscaloosa

I had been going to the new down to game .Never again in comparison it's really a joke the people at one up together are warm and friendly and don't hate there job. The guy that I took my cards to was very nice polite and did not make me feel like I was intruding on his day!

Always a fun place to play board games with friends. There’s three ways to have it: bringing your own games, using the store’s games library they have on hand, or purchasing something from their selection of games. The game selection for store owned games & purchasable one varies. They also have vinyl pins & other items that a nerd could want.

I came here for the first time over a year ago after moving down from CT. I was looking to find a D&D group and ended up joining two. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. D&D games are top notch, Stan is a talented and experienced DM who knows how to make the games really enjoyable and you can tell he's having fun, too. Employees are friendly and professional, greeting me when I come through the door, ringing me up quickly, and up for chatting a while if business is slow. I brought some cards to ask about and they were straightforward about what they could pay me for them and letting me know I would probably get more for them on eBay. Every time I see people playing TCGs, especially during events, is a fun atmosphere and enjoyable to watch for a bit. I definitely recommend One Up, they earn the 5 star review.

Played the One Piece TCG at this store and paid $10 for entry fee (as per standard). Usually, no matter what place you get in the store tournament, you get a pack of cards or two. I was given 0 packs even though I paid the $10 entry. If I wanted to play the game and get nothing out of it I’ll just play online. Not playing TCG tournaments here anymore

Decent store, but they charge decently over msrp. They had Mega Charizard X ex Ultra Premium Collection for $160, when there is another store across town that has 4+ boxes for $120. Also no one spoke to me when I walked in and looked lost. $250 starting off is insane. Scalper prices from a card shop is ridiculous. Ignoring customers makes sense when this is how you run the business.
