Went in three people up at the counter talking, asked one of them if you guys carried a specific tcg. The guy started answering and stopped literally mid sentence to pick up the phone and proceeded to have a conversation with them. I awkwardly stood there for a minute or so waiting for my question to get answered. the two other workers behind the counter continued their conversation. Finally I told the guy on the phone thanks I have all the info i need and left.

This place is awful. I tried to give this one a chance after giving the one in Denton multiple chances. They hooked me in with the OP16 pre-release where "if you buy a ticket for pre-release you'll be able to purchase a box of OP16 at $125 membership pricing" ONLY for them to pull the rug out from under us day of and email saying "only 8 people will actually be able to buy a box" and guess how they determined who those 8 people were? The organizer and judge gave himself a box (this should never happen), the top player got a box, and the rest went to the regular or local people that THEY DECIDED who would get a box based on how much they paid in membership. This is so scummy and unfair to all the people who drove 1-2hrs on the promise of getting a box at MSRP. On top of all that, the staff were some of the most socially awkward and unwelcoming people I have ever encountered in an LGS. They scoff at you when you ask to buy product and then give all their attention to the members who pay the insane $100/mo fee. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! DON'T SUPPORT SCUMMY AND EXCLUSIONARY SELLING TACTICS!!!

mtg tournament organization is cripplingly inept. if its time in the round and you call 5 turns in comp REL, as the TO, it is your obligation to stop the round at 5 turns. extensions aside if you say that aloud you have to follow through. its disappointing to see. i didnt follow the rules to the T in what i was told was competitive rules enforcement for the may 31st 2026 championship to watch the shop TO actively watching a game thats in overtime reach well beyond the 5 turns allotted after time was up. cant say id reccommand doing business. if theyre willing to forgo the rules set aside, i dont want to know what else theyre willing to be as loose with as a business.

Couldn't beleive it, went to buy some of the new pokemon set on release day. They were opening the 3 pack sticker collections, taking the promo card and all the packs out and selling them for 15$ each. Keep in mind this product sells at MSRP for 15$ for the full thing making it a 300% mark up. I understand needing a profit but that this is straight robbery. Couldnt even buy a full thing at 45$ either. Tried to give them another chance today and asked for a specific mini tin and was told it was being held for someone else okay that fine however the worker proceeded to then go through the box and grab another one (the last of that art) so I couldn't get it. Had to just walk away, very disappointed in what was a good store now its just scalpers.

I’m honestly disgusted. This store is charging $250 for the new Riftbound League of Legends booster boxes when the MSRP is only $120. That’s more than double the price for something brand new. And it’s not just this set, they mark up everything they sell like this. Every release, every product, every “special edition” is ridiculously overpriced. What makes it worse is that they’re doing this in a smaller city, where there are only two stores like this around. They know people don’t have many options, and they’re taking advantage of it. Instead of supporting the local gaming community, they’re exploiting it for profit. I went in hoping to support a lgs, but it’s clear they don’t care about customers, just cash. There’s no justification for doubling MSRP on sealed, currently available products. It’s predatory, greedy, and insulting to anyone who actually plays or collects. If you care about your wallet or your principles, shop literally anywhere else. Don’t let stores like this keep ripping off their own community just because they can. TL;DR: $250 for a $120 box. They exploit the lack of competition and overcharge on everything. Shameful.
