Next-Gen Games

Stopped in while traveling and had a chance to talk with the friendly folks at Next-Gen Games. If you’re in the area or happen to be passing through town, I highly recommend stopping by to check things out. Very welcoming place space and super awesome staff. Special shout out to Jeremy for his hospitality!

There’s TONS of table space, the players are friendly, and the staff are helpful and patient. What’s not to like? On Commander Wednesdays, the pizza place next door offers 15% if you say you’re at the game shop and even hand delivers it to your table at no extra cost! The perfect gaming setup for a full night of fun :)

I only come when they're the only store around LA to have a certain item. Unfortunately I keep getting the same store clerk. Big guy, latino, long hair, glasses, really blunt to be working with customers. Idk if it's bc I'm new and just gone a couple of times but he doesn't have that customers service. Struggles to say thank you back. Plus the whole time he's talking to people while helping me. Can't even do basic customer services right.

I believe the other reviews about the customer service. We were greeted but once we were looking around the cases asking questions, it felt like they were annoyed by me? Don’t shop here for Pokémon. It’s not a loved hobby in this shop, selection abysmal and shouldn’t be advertised. It felt really awkward in there, 30+ min drive to be misled sucks. (I’m also from out of town so it’s disappointing that was my first experience at a “game” shop in LA. Parking is ROUGH.

This is long overdue, AWESOME staff!!!! Been coming for the last 3-4 months, started playing when MTG introduced Final Fantasy. The whole team is welcoming, friendly, patient, above and beyond. Atmosphere is great, made great new friends here, just overall best Game Shop in LA!!!!!
