Mystic Table Hobby & Game Emporium

This shop is top notch!!!! I could definitely see this shop as a true example of a hometown shop. Hospitality and customer service are abundant throughout the whole experience. It feels like a genuinely welcoming space. The prices are more than fair, and the selection is AWESOME!!!! Whatever your game of choice; it would be a safe bet that they have what you are looking for. Treat yourself and go in for one of their weekly game night events; you won’t be disappointed!!!!!!

Solid place love the prices and the staff are fun to talk to over all great vibe

Came from out of town and had very mixed reviews. First they had a very wide selection of sealed products and packs. That’s about the only positive. First the employee had no clue how to find out prices on slabs. He had to call the owner (I’m assuming) and legitimately negotiated some prices over the phone just to make sure they were market. What I found out while listening to their conversation is that they take in consignment inventory and then mark it up from there. That’s unfair to the customer. Next is the absurd prices for some packs. Paldean Fates pack $38!!!! Ascended Hero’s $20 per pack. I think 151 was $60 some a back. That’s absurd! I should have been suspicious as none of their packs had prices on it. Next was the way that they display their singles. They had them scrolling through on a TV that was even hard to figure out how to stop so you can at least see what they have. Take those TV’s, sell them and go buy another display case and a slab lot. It legitimately took 40 minutes to check out. The guy was trying his best but obviously not trained at all. I did buy some things but after 35 minutes of this poor employee trying to figure out the system, I felt bad. All in all not a good experience at all and this looks like a scalper shop to me. Very disappointing. Note: This is my 4th ever review of anything so I’m not going around trashing businesses, but this one couldn’t be ignored.

My son really enjoys collecting pokemon, and honestly I have no idea what we're doing. We entered this store yesterday and let me just tell you we walked out with new friends and a wealth of knowledge. The selection is fantastic, but the staff really shines. Cynthia and Dan spent their time explaining things and helping us both understand the process of collecting pokemon. They were so sweet to my children and I am so thankful. We will most definitely be returning customers.. honestly my son has non-stop been telling me how much fun he had with me yesterday and that's worth its weight in gold for me. I highly recommend making the trip! Thank you, Cynthia and Dan, you've made an impact on this family!
