Mulligans Trading Cards & Collectibles

This place is awesome. I could have easily spent another hour plus looking through all the Pokemon singles in the $1 bin. Prices on the more valuable stuff were extremely fair and I absolutely walked out after having spent more than I'd intended to. The owner and employees were all super friendly and welcoming, without being overbearing, while a bunch of regulars were hanging out playing Magic. I'm not a MTG guy but their selection of MTG singles seemed even better than the excellent Pokemon collection. Places like this make the hobby so much more fun to be a part of and I think it's important to support stores like this to keep them alive. I 100% recommend a visit to Mulligan's if you are into any sort of TCG. I will certainly be back any time I'm in the area.

Mulligans is, by far, a cut above every other card and collectible store in the greater Richmond area. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely kind, and the definition of a consummate professional. You can tell he truly cares about both the hobby and the people who walk through the door. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are friendly, engaging, and always happy to help whether you're a seasoned collector or just getting started. The store is consistently clean, well-organized, and—perhaps most impressively for a game store—it doesn't smell like a basement dweller's lair. B.O. is a NO-GO What really sets Mulligans apart is its commitment to honesty, inclusivity, and exceptional customer service. Everyone is treated with respect, and you leave feeling like more than just another customer. If you're looking for a local game store that values community as much as collectibles, Mulligans is the place to be.

This place is the best spot in town for Pokemon TCG fans. Chris and staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable. One of the very few places in town that sometimes has Pokemon product at/near MSRP. Lots and lots of singles and bulk to go through. Never played there, but I imagine its a good place to! Easily my favorite LCS in/near Richmond!

We visited this card shop during our short stay in Virginia, and holy. This shop was actual heaven. The shop itself was super clean and smelled pleasant. The staff were knowledgable and kind as well! They also let us know that there were sensory toys if you were in need of a sensory reset, which is a great option for all kinds of people alike. As a collector who primarily collects pokemon bulk of several kinds, the organization of the bins + the amount of inventory was absolute heaven! Everything was organized by letter, border color, trainer, and rarity. There were even other bins with toploader cards filled with awesome finds, from EXs to full arts. You were able to take out the bins and sit down to sift through them nearby as well. It was incredibly easy to find what we were looking for, which is a fresh experience compared to what I'm used to: hours upon hours of searching through bins looking for specific cards only separated by rarity. It truly makes me wish card shops in my home city had this level of not only organization, but inventory too! If I'm ever given the opportunity to visit Richmond again, this shop will be absolutely be on the top of my list of places to revisit!

After visiting countless card shops throughout Virginia, Mulligans is by far the best card shop around. Chris and staff have been nothing but friendly, knowledgeable, and inclusive to everyone. I have been visiting this shop nearly every week as they have created an awesome community with events happening every single day. I have never come across a store with a more organized selection of bulk Pokemon cards, which makes deckbuilding so much easier and not overwhelming, especially if you are new to TCG. Even if you do not intend on purchasing anything, the staff makes it well known that they are still always thankful for the visit or playing. I never really leave reviews, but truly believe this store deserves all the good that comes its way!
