Mox Boarding House Seattle

I absolutely love Mox, it's one of the best bars in Seattle. A place for nerds and gamers to enjoy a night out that sounds like a night in. A plethora of games readily available to play behind the counter and a great game space, new games and a whole card operation set as a focus. I wish the menu had a few more items but the offerings available are fantastic! I bring all my friends either here or the Bellevue location, and it's always a blast. From private rooms to personal moments this place is a great one to take a stop and enjoy a game.

What a lovely place to spend an afternoon or even a whole day! Me and my partner had an absolute blast here as we love board games. Will definitely visit again! The staff is friendly and they were happy to help us choose games. There was no pressure to order any food or drinks but we got the grilled cheese bites to share and they were good.

The food prices here were pretty expensive for what you get. We ordered the pulled pork nachos ($18) and asked if we could swap the pork for chicken. Instead of substituting it, the server added an extra charge for chicken (+$4) without informing us beforehand, which was frustrating. Service overall wasn’t great, and the food itself was just okay. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t really match the prices. That said, we did have a really good time playing games there. Props to the staff member who recommended a game for our group of 6—it ended up being really fun and was probably the highlight of our visit.

Lovely staff and great food! The game library is very well stocked. Got one of the private game rooms for a birthday gathering at it was an all around great experience! It's a busy place so sometimes can be a bit of a wait, but it's great to see the place getting so much business. Will be back again and again!

Amazing and helpful staff, Badger was so wonderful to work with and very willing to answer my questions and assist me finding exactly what I'd needed for my collection. Their online system is amazing for finding the cards you're looking to collect and the fun happy atmosphere of so many in the store having fun gaming made me really feel at home. So wish I lived closer and could visit more often but thank you so much for being so kind to me for my visit 💙
