Basically exactly what it is: the dream of nerdy billionaires of a place to play games and socialize with good food, drinks, and games in a library for borrowing in store. On top of that, a great selection of tabletop RPG's, board games, card games, miniatures, and more with every genre and fandom represented. We brought a game ourselves to play at an available table in the middle of the store, and several customers were friendly and expressed interest, so we got to share our thoughts about the game for others to decide if they might be interested in it. Plus, we had really great dinner in the adjoining restaurant, listening in on others playing their own games. It's a great place to hang out and play as well as buy what you need to fill out your game closet/room/garage. Wish there was one more centrally located, but wouldn't trade this place for the world.

Great place! Vibes in this place were really welcoming, guy gave us a curated set of games to rent. Inside was very clean, people were friendly and the whole vibe was very chill. At peak hours on Friday we were still taking care of quickly. It was also nice the server didn't bug us the entire time and recognized when we were about to leave. Will definitely be back here soon, thanks Mox Chandler 🤙

I've been here a few times. Their prices are great for card games imo. We got some dice, and a Magic commander pack. Then we came back and went to the restaurant. It's a little pricey, but the food and mead wereworth it. It's hard to find mead especially and it was delicious compared to the normal one you get at the Ren Faire. We got the veggie pot pies, a burger, and wings. All were delicious. Service was fast and friendly as well. Looking forward to renting one of their private rooms with restaurant service! Update: rented a room for 4 hours for a Bachelor's D&D game! It was awesome to have a room with a large table, cool decor, and room service! Super fun!

Favorite game store I’ve ever been in! It’s gorgeous, welcoming, fully stocked with all sorts of tabletop games and card games, literally from floor to ceiling. The staff is welcoming and helpful in explaining the store concept, and the vibe is a gamer’s dream. The hosted events are TCG heavy, but there are also cool trivia nights. It’s also the only board game place that is packed ALL week. Like parking lot full on a Tuesday night. I’ve never been in an empty Mox and it’s an amazing feeling to be surrounded by people doing things they love with a great community! The restaurant is very accommodating to allergies and they have a huge bar. You can checkout games to play from their retail library and if you decide to buy a copy it’s 15% off. The staff will walk you through how to play the game if you’d like, or you can learn yourself. Genuinely the cleanest, nicest board game store I’ve ever been in. It also got me to buy a MTG commander deck just so I can see what all the hype is about lol! People are just that friendly that you want to be a part of the community. It’s like a neighborhood bar but for board games.

Tonight I was thrilled to visit @moxboardinghouse for the first time and celebrate 30 years of @pokemon! I was a child in elementary school when Pokémon Red & Blue came out in the United States, and like so many this franchise has stayed with me over the course of my life. I developed critical thinking skills, formed interests that represented me, and made life long friends because of these games. This evening, I played the Pokémon card game at a shop for the first time since I was a kid. The Mox team did a fantastic job of welcoming me in to the space for this event, and toured me the entire venue & all of their many amenities. This is a great place to hang out, learn new games, and make new friends!
