Moonshot Games - Plainfield

We were in Plainfield for a short time, decided to go to this store before our flight home, and had a great time at this store! The two people working at the time were knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to be helpful to everyone in the store. Prices for Pokemon singles were fair, there was a ton of variety when it came to older uncommons and rares, and there were limits on some of the sealed products (which is always a major plus for us). We love visiting local game stores and this is definitely one we were happy to check out!

This store is amazing! The remodel looks fantastic, and the selection keeps getting better every time I visit. They always have a great variety of sealed product in stock, which is becoming harder and harder to find these days. I completely understand why they price products at market value. If everything was sold at MSRP, the shelves would be empty all the time. Their pricing is fair, transparent, and reflects the reality of the hobby. The staff is honest, friendly, and knowledgeable, and their singles inventory is constantly growing. Whether you’re looking for sealed product, singles, or just a great local game store experience, this is the place to go. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won’t be disappointed!

Awesome little gem in Plainfield. I didn’t know it was there for the longest time, but I’m glad I found it. You can order singles online and pick up in store. Something a lot of the other stores around here refuse to set up. The staff is super friendly, and the prices on sealed product is typically at or below msrp at launch, at least with MTG stuff. Cant speak to any other game. Obviously some of the other sealed stuff is worth more. I brought my wife to a Magic 101 class and she had a great time. Hayden was patient and explained everything very well. He answered all her questions and didn’t ever seem bothered or annoyed by it. They have a location in Noblesville too, and I’ve only been once, but it was a great experience too. If you’re looking for a new location, give em a shot.

Had an awesome experience at this small card and game shop! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, even during a busy Magic: The Gathering prerelease event. Despite the crowd, the staff handled everything smoothly—they were attentive, helpful, and got us checked out without any issues. Everyone working there was genuinely kind and made the whole visit enjoyable. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

This used to be one of my favorite stores to get product from. You could preorder new sets for MSRP and get cards at reasonable prices. Now they charge top “market” for all of their sealed product they get from distribution including preorders. Their store is overflowing in unsold product because the prices are absurd. No complaints about the employees. They do a fantastic job and are extremely friendly.
