Minted TCG Athens

I went to TCG Minted in Athens with roughly $10,000 worth of football cards because I was seriously interested in working out a trade toward an item they had in the store. I was not there just to browse—I came prepared to do actual business. When I arrived, I was told there were two customers ahead of me who were also waiting to receive trade-in values. That was completely reasonable, and I had no problem waiting my turn. The first customer eventually finished, and then the next group was helped. Unfortunately, this is where the experience became extremely frustrating. The employee wearing black glasses seemed far more interested in socializing than handling the transaction efficiently. What should have been a straightforward evaluation turned into more than an hour of casual conversation, personal questions, joking around, and what felt more like friends catching up than employees helping customers in a professional and timely manner. There is nothing wrong with being friendly with customers. Good customer service should absolutely be personable. But there is a big difference between being friendly and allowing a transaction to drag on for over an hour while another customer is visibly waiting with thousands of dollars in merchandise and a genuine intention to make a purchase. After waiting that long, I ultimately left without even getting my cards evaluated. They lost a potential transaction involving around $10,000 in football cards and a customer who was ready to spend money simply because there appeared to be no urgency or consideration for the people waiting. I also think the nearly perfect rating gives people the wrong impression of what to expect. The store appears to have a strong following largely because of Pokémon and other TCG products, but those products are generally being sold around market price. If you are primarily a sports-card collector, the selection is also extremely limited compared with an actual sports-card shop. My biggest issue, though, was not the inventory or pricing. It was the customer service. When people are waiting, especially people who have specifically come in to conduct a significant transaction, employees should be conscious of their time. You can provide excellent, friendly service without turning one customer's transaction into an hour-long social visit while everyone else waits. After this experience, I will not be returning, and I personally would not recommend TCG Minted to anyone looking for efficient, professional service when buying, selling, or trading higher-value cards.

Kyle was very helpful when I was selling my cards showed all of the details for the card was very transparent about how much i would get and what they would sell the cards for and I completed the evolution for my collection overall amazing experience
