Midwest Vintage Toys

Had a poor experience here when going to trade Pokemon cards. Firstly, the gentleman that handles trading was rude regarding my cards, telling me “we both know these aren’t in good condition.” Then when he went to price out the cards, he didn’t use TCG player because “they don’t price off of recent sales and people barter, so I lose money.” Never have I been to a vendor that doesn’t use TCG player or collectr to price out cards. I’ve never heard of the app he was using either. He offered me $36 trade in value and obviously I said no. After I left, I went to another card shop nearby that gave me $65 trade in-value and used TCG player. Plus had good customer service. Overall the experience was poor and I got bad vibes from that guy. I wouldn’t recommend trading cards here. I did check and most of the cards in his case were within market value on TCG player so buying cards doesn’t seem to be bad. But definitely wouldn’t recommend trading here.

Love this store. Everyone is always welcoming. The staff are always helpful. They have extremely fair prices and make fair trades. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This place is cool! Well air conditioned, clean, lots of cool toys to look at and bring a little nostalgic feeling to your mind. Staff was super friendly and while we were there shopping they were hold a pre release, they ordered pizza for the players! Prices were good with their singles being very well priced! Definitely worth checking out in my opinion! We also got a decent amount of random goodies in some of their bulk boxes we bought (: will definitely be here again when we pass through for camping

New favorite hang out spot! Jake that works there is a very cool dude and is very knowledgeable in the realm of TCG. I always get a warm greeting when I come into the shop. Their toy selection is awesome and could get lost in their inventory for hours. Midwest Vintage Toys is an awesome store and I would invite anyone and everyone to come check it out!

So many great vintage toys. Really great prices. I was able to get something that I've been looking for for a long time for my Star Trek collection and it was priced well below what I expected. Clean and well organized
