I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a strong smell of marijuana throughout the store. I’m familiar with the smell, so it was very noticeable. When I entered, there was no greeting or acknowledgment. The employee was busy pricing cards, which I completely understand. I waited patiently, but when he finally spoke to me, he repeatedly told me he was busy and that I’d have to wait. That was already obvious—I wasn’t rushing him or complaining. He also acted like he didn’t want to be there. When he asked what I had, I told him I had vintage Pokémon cards. After he finished what he was doing, he started looking them up. The biggest issue came with my last card: a Deoxys Delta Species reverse holo stamped card from Holon Phantoms. Instead of looking up the reverse holo stamped version, he pulled up the regular holo version, which is worth significantly less. I politely pointed out that he was looking at the wrong version. Instead of simply correcting it, his attitude immediately became defensive and argumentative. He then dismissed the card because of its condition, saying it was only worth around $5, despite damaged copies of the reverse stamped version selling for much more than that. He also mentioned he didn’t really want the card anyway. The entire interaction felt passive-aggressive and unprofessional. At that point, I just said, “Forget it,” asked about the rest of the cards, and he said he wasn’t interested in those either. I thanked him, gathered my cards, and left. Everyone values cards differently, and it’s perfectly fine to decline buying something. My issue wasn’t the offer—it was the attitude, the incorrect pricing of a specific card, and the overall customer service. I won’t be returning.

Stopped in here to get some Pokémon cards for my son and Bryan was very knowledgeable and helpful! So glad I chose to come here for a pack instead of a big store. Thanks again!
