I checked this store out and was surprised by such a great selection of figures and accessories. Had paints, cases, and everything else that you might need. If you live in the area and game or D&D check this place out.

Best place to buy magic singles in central Iowa. I try to always shop local when I can. As someone who plays competitively and is always adjusting my decks for changes in the meta, I buy a lot of singles. I live in Des Moines and all of the shops around me have such an inconsistent stock of cards, that I end up driving around to 3 different shops and end up with 10/40 cards that I need. With Main Street, I can send them a list of the singles I need via email, they respond promptly letting me know which cards they have (typically around 90%+ of my list), and when they can have them ready. They also have a buy list on their website so I can pull the cards I want to trade in which saves me time and money. I’ve never had a bad experience with this shop and have been using it since I was in college a decade ago. The complaints in these google reviews are petty and disingenuous. I’m so grateful to have a shop like this with 30-40 minutes and I hope they stay in business long into the future.

I called in my order ahead of time, he was curtious and had my order waiting. Pleasant interaction

Don't try to inconvenience the shop keeper with your business. I've been here many times and anything that requires him to answer a question or move at all seems like a great big deal to him. This final trip to his store, I dared to ask him if I could see the two cards I was purchasing before I paid for them. A reasonable request, I think. He sighed and rolled his eyes before retrieving them (as if he wasn't going to have to get them for me anyway after I paid). I won't be bothering him anymore and I've told my friends not to disturb him with their business either. Just a very unpleasant man, and there has never been anyone else tending the store that I've seen.

does not support or participate in the yearly Pride Parade on main street. this is a bingo sheet styled game from this years (2025), you get signatures from within each listed store on main street and it's a raffle. hosted and collaborated together by each store owner.
