Living Dead Comics

Good old fashion comic store! Toys surround walls and heavy new comic stock! TCG cards(POKEMON PACKS!!). While this is not my LCS, I like to go out of my way to stop in! Oh, and they have a whole box of comic blanks(for MEGACON!!). I'm not sure if they do comic subscriptions, but I'm sure they do!

This happened a while ago, but it left a lasting impression and is the reason I haven’t returned. My son was a regular customer at this comic shop and used his own money to purchase a collectible figure. Within a few minutes of leaving the store (we went to Charlie’s bakery next store), he realized he had accidentally picked the wrong one. We immediately went back to exchange it, and the replacement item was about $5 cheaper. We politely asked if the price difference could be refunded, but were told no. What was disappointing was not the amount, but the principle. In most retail situations in Orlando, a simple exchange like this would be handled without issue, especially when it is brought back immediately and clearly an honest mistake. My main concern was that this involved a young kid learning responsibility with his own money. Situations like this matter because they teach children what fairness and integrity look like in real life. Instead, the response felt dismissive and uncaring, even after we pointed out the price difference. We’ve been customers there before and had positive experiences, but this interaction changed how I view the shop and is why we haven’t been back. I even mentioned to the older gentleman that this was disappointing, and he just didn’t care, especially as a single mom with their young son sitting there, trying to teach him life lesson lessons be better, especially in such a small community!

Awesome shop with a ton of stuff! I was on vacation and decided to stop there on their name alone and I'm happy I did. They had a nice selection of back issues from golden to current, a lot of cool toys and statues and so much more. This spot is definitely worth checking out!

I managed to spend a few hours in this store and its fantastic. Great selection and great people that run it. The owner, Lee spent a lot of time talking to us and everyone that came in while we were there with no pressure. A real, family run business that knows their stuff with a real community vibe.

I had the privilege of visiting Living Dead Comics for the first time this week. The owner and the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. They have a little bit of everything for everybody. Whether you're looking for an anime statue, $1 comics, manga, model kits, toys or a CGC graded comic books, they got it all. Definitely worth the visit and they have a ton of parking, very organized and overall an awesome spot to check out. Highly recommend. Five-stars across the board.
