I have been a customer of Level 1 for a few years now. They have a great selection at this store. Games, dvds, gundams, posters, binders, toys, Magic cards, pokemon cards. The staff is always fun. Prices are great and align with market. You will have a blast. They host Magic games and pokemon as well.

Terrible experience. Wanted to trade some stuff in and called to ask if they’re doing trade ins. Upon calling I was met with a groan and an annoyed tone that said they would take a look. I priced out everything on PriceCharting and headed to the store. When I got there it took around 25 minutes to process everything and came back to me with a 35% cash value, or 38% trade. The worst part was when I was saying I thought the margins were low, they literally laughed in my face and told me “yeah those %s woudnt even get you through the door” and made me just feel dumb and useless to them as a customer. I understand needing to make a profit but for those margins I’m better off going to a GameStop. Store was a bit dusty, ok selection, and the prices were a bit higher than market. Customer service seems to be this place’s downside, where it feels like the employees are mad and upset at you browsing, asking questions, and trading in games. Wouldn’t recommend this location, and I’ll be sure to tell people to not go here.

Went in on a Friday to purchase a Gameboy color and some games. Two days later the Gameboy started making a buzzing noise so I went back to return it. As per their policy there are no refunds, only store credit or an even exchange. They only had another Gameboy color with a modded backlit screen so I said I’ll get the backlit one but made them lower the price because of the hassle and the fact that they were nearly $50 over market. I originally just wanted a refund but I had to argue about it for 20 minutes with I believe the owner. 48 hours for a malfunctioning product and only the option to buy a more expensive one or a gift card just really isn’t good business. After going back and forth, eventually the owner said rudely “I’ll just give you your money back it’s easier for me” as if I was the problem here. He complained to me about losing money on the only other gameboy he wanted me to buy because he was overpriced and has to pay to fix the broken product I was returning him. Eventually he gave into lowering the price of the modded Gameboy but I still had to pay a bit more money. Now it’s been a day since I have exchanged the gameboys and the newer one had a horizontal line appear across the screen and its flickering on the bottom half. Seems like these idiots don’t test their inventory thoroughly and don’t care that they sold you a half working product. I’m going to keep it and fix it myself as it isn’t rocket science. Avoid level 1 games unless you want to pay over market, deal with a condescending owner, and not know if your product that they claim to test is going to last more than 48 hours.

Amazing selection of retro games. I was in for top loaders and they and a large display dedicated to sleeves and top loaders. I didn’t have coins to try it but there was a coin operated mystery dispenser that had random prizes from cards to other collectables. Though I wasn’t there long, the staff seemed very knowledgeable and friendly. Wish I lived closer because I’d be constant customer if that was the case.
