Review for Kitchen Table Games – West Jefferson, NC Re-review as of 7/30/2026 With their upcoming relocation, I’m thrilled about the new stock they’ll be carrying. The impressive Warhammer section, terrain, Dungeons & Dragons, and Magic! are just a few of the options they’ll have. It’s an excellent addition to the area and will definitely become a frequent stop for me. Honestly, after comparing prices on Warhammer sites, I was concerned about the markup, but it’s reasonable for a retail store. I was worried they’d overcharge, but it’s an average markup for the industry. Great place only complaint I’d have is the guy at the front counter just doesn’t have a great attitude most of the time. Just seems like he’s in a bad mood to be there or not having fun. Doesn’t talk much her but other than that no complaints and I can’t wait to see the new building!

Went in to go see about buying and trading Pokemon. They don’t list the prices on ANYTHING, you have to take it up to the register. All of their prices are $30-$50 over online prices (selling booster bundle for Prismatic Evolutions for $80 when recently sold prices online are $40-$50 AND Twilight Masquerade ETB for $125 when recently sold is $50-$60) and when I brought up trading they said a card worth around $8-$13 dollars would only get me 25 cents if they bought it/traded it. Don’t waste your time. Since the business is deciding to say i’m getting my pricing from Temu: My prices i’m showing are from Mercari and Ebay. I’ve now updated with some TCG prices to show that they do in fact list $30-$40 over TCGPlayer. Vaporeon Master Ball is $17.99 on TCG yet $70 on their website. Twilight Masquerade ETB: $67 currently Prismatic Evolution Booster Bundle: $58 currently Just saying, you all seem to like to sell at scalper pricing meanwhile the local walmart that’s five minutes down the road gets newer and better stock in for MSRP every week.

I would not recommend purchasing anything from here. A friend purchased a Magic the Gathering Secret Lair nerf blaster from here on 12-26-23 and gave it to me as a gift. The product seemed intact. Upon opening the product it was missing items which were promotional cards that were supposed to come with it. The product was supposed to come with a nerf blaster, 6 darts and 2 promo cards. I went back to the store to let them know that the promos were missing and they said that they took them out of all the nerf blaster packages and sold them all already ( which the cards have a slip in their packaging that says NOT FOR RESALE). They said if they left them in there they would have to sell the complete product for $100 or more. MSRP for the product is $39.99 for the whole package. They were selling it for $40 without the cards. When my friend purchased it there were no signs saying that it was an incomplete product and they were not informed at the counter. Felling very disappointed and cheated I asked how could this be fixed and all that was offered was a refund or a $10 store credit for $60 worth of product that was missing. I will not be purchasing anything from this business anymore and I encourage you to do the same. If you do, I hope you have a better experience than I did. Very disappointing. Edit: Response to owners comment. We were unaware that we were purchasing an incomplete item from your business. It is overpriced without the cards in it. There should have been a sign up on the display stating so from the beginning. Due to the who interaction with the store and what I have heard from the surrounding communitie I will not be returning. There is nothing more you can do for me.I tried to get this resolved while I was there but was only met with a business that doesn't seem to care about their customers. So there isn't anything you can do for me. I just hope others are cautious about what they get from there and that you care for your customer base and community better. I wish you all the best.

Avocado toast, breakfast begal and acai bowls were great and we loved looking at all the different games and the assortment of D&D material while waiting for our food. We will definitely stop by again!

This looks like a great place to hang out to play games, but as a google guide, I cannot recommend eating here (for breakfast at least). I did not try the smoothies, but I would recommend not going here for breakfast. We waited about 45 minutes for piece of French Toast, which should have been tossed. We were early in town and did not see any other place to have breakfast.
