King Slayer Cards

They do not let you inspect cards before purchasing? Even if the card is $1000+ they refuse any inspection of the card before purchase. Honestly the store seems to be a front to get distributor allocations for sealed product - because what kind of card store doesnt let you inspect or even view the card before purchase.

Drove all the way from west palm beach down here for a newtype event for gundam, only for them to say that they canceled the event because they didn't get the kits in, and that they posted it all over that they were canceling. What about the people who don't follow you online, how are they to know? Other locations hosted the event even though they didn't get the kits, they simply hold it for you. Absolutely ridiculous.

Hidden gem this little shop. Amazing selection, super welcoming vibes, and the team is genuinely so nice. They let me dig through their bulk and check out their collection, which made my entire week. I've been on a mission to find and complete my Pokedex and I was finally able to complete it and I’m honestly so grateful. If you’re into cards at all, this spot is it. 10/10, will absolutely be back when I start collection Gen 2.

Used to be a local and come to the store often for tournaments back in The Oven days. Eventually we moved to another nearby spot but I would still come by for cards every now and then, prices used to be fun and flexible. Prices for most cards were somewhat accurate, others a bit too high but all good and often like I said depending on who was there, they would be flexible. Something changed and these days, sticker prices for cards remain at what they were printed at months ago during the card spike, and currently at time of writing this, we are in a market crash where card prices have fallen quite dramatically. No matter how many sources you show them what the card is currently going for on the market despite the sticker being priced far above, the manager gets upset and reaffirms that prices are firm, much unlike other serious card shops. Got a fantastic deal a few months ago by a terrific and fun employee that was currently buying cards from a patron. Every time since that I drive from the other side of town to see if I can get a similar or good deal, much like the ones I get from practically every other shop and vendor in the state, I am met with strong annoyance, unplesantness and even fierce anger. As someone that loves to socialize with anyone with similar hobbies and interests, it's disappointing I am met with such a response, especially for just trying to be what I consider a fun and frequent buyer. Despite the unwarranted attitude, I still bought an item out of show of good favor and respect to a place I used to call a local treasure and love so much. King Slayer Cards used to be a golden place, and I'll cherish the memories and I had with it. But the manager while being insulting insinuated I would continue to come back and "waste his time" over making purchases and trying to cut a reasonable deal. If you want a local spot to play Magic and hang out with some people, it might not be a bad spot for you. But I won't be coming back.

One of the greatest place to escape life, forget about problems and hang out with friends and family playing any TCG and Board games you like. Their prices for buying and selling cards are the BEST in Florida and possibly all of USA 🇺🇸. They have the best staff, very friendly and helpful, they are very quick with getting orders as fast as possible to your hands. The events hosted by them are among the best offering top money prizing and a fun and entertaining competitive atmosphere. I have brought my wife and kids here and they also enjoy it as much as I do, they didn’t even want to go back home. Perfect place to host events as well.
