I was a steady customer. I wanted to pre order the new Hobbit Magic set. They are charging $700 for a collector booster box. MSRP on this is $450. They’ll tell you they’re just charging market which is a lie. Market on sites like TCG player are basically set by scalpers. The product isn’t even out yet so obviously the prices for secondary scalper market (not a retail store) are inflated. This store will never see another penny from me. I would suggest looking elsewhere if you don’t want to be ripped off by your local card shop looking for a cash grab. This is how stores lose customers and they just lost this one.

Great game store, had a lot of games to choose from though still on the smaller side for a shop. Half of it was filled with tables and chairs and people playing MTG.

I really recommend you go elsewhere. The place smells awful, something id note has not been an issue at any other shop I've been too in the treasure valley. They also rip people off with extortionate prices on brand new product. They are a sponsored play shop for mtg and yet they sell specific brand new stuff at a near 50% markup. Mind you They as a play store get significant discounts and dont have to buy product at msrp which is had been explained to me by other storess. Doesn't get better if you turn to their singles either. They underestimate how damaged their cards are and overvalue how expensive said cards are. Final complaint. I always get stared at when im in the shop by the locals who play there. Its legit weird as a woman getting into magic that I cant shop without having some creep off to the side stare at my chest the entire time im looking at booster packs or singles Ive given the shop multiple chances since the start of the year. That maybe the time I go in was just an off day. Nope, the smell, shitty practices, and poor staff are just how the place is. Me and my fiance will put our money into other shops Edit: owners response says they are competitive with their mtg pricing and thats just not true. Play stores should sell brand new sets and products at msrp. Selling the new strixhaven silverquill precon for $20 over msrp is not being competitive its being greedy. If its competitive than why do all the other major tcg shops in the valpey honor the $50 msrp price tag for new product? Why did in response to my legit disgust at the price tag an employee try to explain it away that it was either raise the price or break down the precons and make your money on singles? Again also ignoring that you get new product at a discount by being a play store and holding events.

I love their selection of board games and magic products. Every time I'm in there Logan is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.

They opened my etb after I paid for it... So mad this is their lame excuse to "prevent scalpers" all they did was hurt my personal sealed collection Edit: You limit scalpers by limiting purchase to one...I am a collector not a speculator I am ok with the"1" limit, I am not ok with you opening my purchase. Please consider a diff policy Thank you
