In The Zone Gaming Ashtabula

I have been a loyal customer here for a while. And have always had a great experience until today. I came in for some pokemon and stood there for at least 15 minutes. The two woman working kept looking over then just going about their day. One of them looked at us then just walked out of the store. We eventually just left since we were not getting help, unfortunately I will just have to get my packs elsewhere today.

Honestly thought this was a good card store till I started realizing they sell Pokémon at about the same price a scalper sells it for. I understand how the Pokémon scene works but I’ve also talked to so many people who collect that all said the same thing A CARD STORE SHOULD NEVER BE SELLING ANY TCG AT ANYTHING BUT MAYBE A very little over msrp cuz I’m sure they have a distributor that they aren’t paying even msrp for the items there getting them at the same price any other major outlet or card store gaurenteed. I understand that they host card games and they have to pay rent to keep there doors open and everything else. Another thing I noticed is they will ALWAYS try to get ur cards to moderately played if ur selling. Took a few cards and the guy tried saying there was dents or creases through the back to the front of my cards and it’s like no they came straight from a pack I pulled into a sleeve into a top loader. If u can avoid having to go here to sell or buy I would. Honestly u find the exact same prices online that you’d find in there store.

This is a fantastic local game store. Awesome selection, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, and good prices. Great for the whole family, too!

Ordered a multitude of cards from this store on TCGPlayer and I received them in fragile white envelope, while the cards were all shoved in two single sleeves. A very immature way of shipping for a storefront.
