It was so nice to get away from the touristy areas and find a spot like this. You can tell the locals really love the owners because people kept stopping by just to say hello. The staff was incredibly pleasant and genuinely caring towards us and everyone else around. They really listen to how you place your order, so there were absolutely no mess-ups. The inside has some fun art to look at, the outdoor patio is a lovely place to sit, and the bathrooms were very clean. We had a group of 3 adults and 3 kids, and the staff took such wonderful care of us. They were so thoughtful and even brought out crayons and paper for the kids to color. All the sandwiches we ordered were delicious. They use excellent, flavorful bread that makes a huge difference. The fries were nice and crispy with a perfect garlic aioli. The highlight was definitely the breakfast sandwich. The bacon on it is perfection. My son usually doesn't like scrambled eggs, but he said these were perfect—very moist and buttery. Just a quick heads-up for true KVAS fans: the imported KVAS is sadly watered down. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back.

The service was great, very friendly, and welcoming. The food was top quality, fresh, and delicious. When I was there they were pretty busy, but they were attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and we felt in no hurry to rush out of there. If you're a fan of eastern European food I would highly recommend you try Iggy's.

One of my favorite food finds in Outer Richmond has been Iggy's Place. If you're exploring Golden Gate Park or heading to the beach, this spot is definitely worth a stop. The sandwiches are incredibly fresh, juicy, and absolutely delicious. I also had the chance to meet the owners, and they're some of the kindest people. You can really tell they put their heart into every dish they serve.

Enjoyed a wonderful sandwich and Matzah Ball soup for lunch at Iggy’s Place. A super clean, spot to drop in for a stuffed sandwich. The special of a half sandwich and soup is an amazing value. We will definitely be back to enjoy more terrific food served by excellent wait staff.

Stopped in on a whim, glad we did. Though, their Reuben is Corned Beef vs. Pastrami, I asked for a Hot Corned Beef sandwich with mustard and a Chicken Matzo soup (cup). The cups are generous, as are the sandwiches. A half should do just fine. Didn't have time to stick around, or we'd work through this menu, top to bottom. A smallish shop, pleasant staff equally at ease in Ukrainian, English or Spanish. Great value, great flavors.
