Hr Sports Cards & Comics

A quick story. About 15 years ago I was in Stockton for business. Took an afternoon off and visited this shop. I spent, maybe $3 but spent several hours, long after closing, just talking baseball. Last year I was in Stockton on vacation. I stopped here again not knowing this was the same store. The gentleman behind the counter remembered me. Needless to say I soent another amazing afternoon just hanging out talking baseball and card collecting. Their range of vintage has grown significantly and that time I walked away with a massive box of vintage cards. This year I sought them out again. Once more I walked away with pleasant conversation and a large box of cards. If you get to Stockton, or live in the area do 't hesitate. Visit this store.

It’s a good store but when I asked the person at the counter if the box for the 2025-26 Topps basketball was a Hobby box they said yes but it ended up being a regular value retail box at double the price. Don’t think I’ll be coming back for a while as I got ripped off for a box I could have bought at another retail store for 50% less.

Went in today to look at Pokemon singles, guy who was working was super cool and genuine. Talked about his Ohtani card he pulled 1/1 and some Alien Dark Horse Comics. Enjoyed the experience and hospitality. This felt like what early 2000s nostalgia shops had to offer it felt old school. Shop is solid… liked the vintage Pokemon and comic selection.

I met the owner there and was on the lookout for a few Pokémon cards. Finally pulled the trigger on Miriam and a few others along with a 151 S&V booster box. Got some cool pulls and he was awesome. 5/5 stars.

The owner immediately treated my party like we had been regulars for years, what a great experience. Finally got a hold of Topps series 2 packs here and pulled a Ryan Borucki (Jays pitcher) auto.
