This spot is pretty hidden but it’s well worth seeking out. To start, the coffee is excellent and very strong, just how I like it. And the banh mi are incredibly solid. The bread they use might not be a fresh baked vietnamese baguette but it’s the next best option. The pork is super tasty and juicy and the veggies are fresh. It’s a great sandwich. Definitely come here to try it out.

We went to the zoo and was super hungry for pho. Google map showed this location. The chef/ manager was very nice. Didn’t know this was more of cafe with take out. But he let us eat there

So I’ll start off by saying YUM! So my husband and I are loyal customers to Xe May in the lower east side. They have such great sandwiches there and we haven’t found a place locally that has the same quality of ingredients and taste. Till now… Sàigon Cà Phê has some delicious sandwiches and the iced Vietnamese coffee was so good too. Finally a place nearby to satisfy our sandwich needs. Everyone stop what you’re doing and have a bite of food here! You will not be disappointed!

I vibed with the cafe. Food is amazing and they are great people to share their merch and pastries. Also have great bubble tea! They have been trying to open for 2 years before becoming a store last December. So they are a relatively new place at the time of this post. Will come back for more boba! The owners are also into anime and trading card games, and they had a good conversation with me. Let’s show support for Saigon Ca Phe! This place has been a blast!

I’m so glad this spot opened! I got the tofu and mushroom vermicelli plate and it perfectly hit the spot. Flavorful without being heavy. The pastries are delicious. Shout out to the apricot danish. It’s great to have a vegetarian option when you need a bite on the run. Update: If you’d like to try a special coffee, go for the Vietnamese coffee. It packs a good caffeine punch. I like my coffee without sugar usually, so they made it half sweet for me and it hit the spot! The pastries are all worth trying, especially the apricot one and the cream cheese one. The one pictured here is blueberry. This spot is a great alternative to the Italian options nearby. 2nd update: Iced Vietnamese coffee and some fluffy cakes are hitting the spot as the weather warms up!
