This store used to be so good, everything was a fair price, costumer service was nice and greeted people, now this store sucks, the staff never asks anything they just look at you. The prices are atrocious too, at the time of this review, celebrations shining magikarp is around $39-$40 and they are marking it as $50, the same condition and everything, they do this for EVERY card. Everything is above last sold, and don’t get me started about the prices of sealed products they are SO overpriced, everything is above market price by $10 to $20, greed took over this place. At this point I’m better of buying from GameStop prices, which are somehow BETTER than this shop.

Place is well organized and has quite a bit to look at but the prices of everything is over market some by maybe a buck or two which I can be okay with but some are 10 to 15 over market and it tends to be my line in the sand. Which really does suck because they have quite a few cards I haven't seen at trade shows that I need for my master set

My 14-year-old and I have been coming here on Sundays for a while now, and I’ve been consistently impressed. There’s always a great group of friendly people playing Commander, and the atmosphere is genuinely welcoming, especially for newer or casual players. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and if you’re looking for singles, they’re quick to track things down. A special shout-out to Emily Perez: despite us not being regulars every single week, she’s made the effort to learn our names and always greets us with a smile. That kind of personal touch goes a long way. Hotsauce has become a place I genuinely look forward to visiting, and it’s made sharing this hobby with my kid even more meaningful.

Stopped by this shop since I've never heard of it. Was curious about the Lorwyn pre-release event that came across my facebook feed that they advertised. Walked in, wasn't even greeted by staff (no big deal). For the most part it looks like a nice store very organized but 0 engagement by employees. I was interested in buying a few booster boxes of magic cards (Lorwyn and Final Fantasy) but the prices were as high as scalpers. When I finally got the employee's attention they were extremely reluctant and annoyed to assist (I'm here trying to spend money pretend to care please). At first the employee attempted to charge me PER single booster, then corrected their error to charging me a box. Final Fantasy booster box 200.00 with tax, Lorywn Booster box 180+ with tax. I kindly declined at that price and the employee looked frustrated and walked away. That pricing is absolutely outrageous... A little disappointed I left and price checked other places and found the prices more reasonable by a large margin. Not a week later I see a facebook post from the actual owner of the shop trying to lowball people locally for sealed product to flip. Usually an owner has direct channels they go through to their distributor they have access to but I guess when you're scalping this badly why bother? Disappointing experience in the store, sealed product pricing as bad as scalpers. Their single card prices were normal. I have nothing against the owner but its basically a scalper with a storefront.

What makes this store special is the people. The owner Adem has a deep love of gaming and is one of the nicest most genuine people you will ever meet. But what's more, he cultivates that in his staff. The effect is that there's always an excitement about gaming eminating from behind the counter and out amongst the tables. They run great events and I primarily interact with the store playing MTG Pre-Release. They always finish timely and have a great group with very good prize for price. That being said, I do ask for recommendations on games to play with my young son and they have always made recommendations that our family loves. The photo is of a playmat the store specifically commissioned which I think shows the enthusiasm and passion I love in the place.
