Hornet Games

Awesome shop, very helpful staff who clearly love their job and the hobby. And if they don't have what you see/want, they can order it for you! Fantastic place, 100% recommend.

I went to browse the model paint selection they had and it looked exactly like what I was after. I got the primer I needed and I'll be returning when my figures are ready to get a splash of color. The owner was working the shop today and he was happy to show me some of the pieces that were prepped in the paints/primers they had available and it was exactly what I wanted. I figured this would be a good place to get it because they are a Warhammer retailer and I was correct, but this fantastic little game shop has so much more to offer than Warhammer and paint. I saw a bookshelf for new and used books for sale and a few things I noticed were 2nd edition D&D manuals though used were still in really good condition, excellent for a collector. Also available were volumes for 3rd, 4th, and 5th editions. Though I stopped playing after 3rd its nice to see a good mix of new and classic. They also had collectable card games available, the 2 most of which I am familiar with Magic the Gathering and Pokémon and a few others as well. If games are not necessarily something you are into they also had a pretty good selection of Lego and puzzles 2 great ways to enjoy time at the table. Besides being a retailer they host game nights so the various gaming communities can come together and share what they enjoy together. Locally owned and operated I would say this place is a jewel in the crown of a small and quaint little community in rural Kansas.

Picked up the new Ravenloft DnD expansion and received three free rpg one shots. Great place! Very friendly service and if your ready to play there are many opportunities. Love this place.

Very friendly staff,They keep a good selection of tabletop games like Warhammer, battletech and BoltAction. Also plenty of card games mtg, Pokemon and also has Legos. But I'd say the best thing the store dose is organized events that keeps the community engaged and active. Basically if your a nerd this is your place!!

Awesome shop in downtown Burlington! Lotsa space to game with cards, board games, even legos, remote control cars, magic, Pokémon, and a great place to hang out! Regular tournaments and drafts and Lego building competitions.
