Hobbytown Louisville

I brought my nephew in to get him started in radio control cars. We had nothing and ended up leaving feeling educated, appreciate it, value, and like we got walked through the start of the hobby very thoroughly. The clerk was very good & spent a couple of hours with us. What a fantastic experience and great people. My nephew is about 2 months into this now and every time we talk on the phone he raves about how much fun he's had this summer. Thank you for the Fantastic experience .

This is probably the worst Hobbytown I have ever been to. When I went in I was hoping for a variety of airplane and tank models, but was immediately left disappointed to see there were 3 total, 1 tank and two of the same plane. The store is filled with lots of Gundam kits, some rc vehicles and 1 rocket kit which are fine but other that that it is pretty much squishy stress toys which in my opinion dont belong in a Hobby store at all! There was a nice selection of paints and tools for models and friendly staff which was nice. Overall this place needs to work on having more model tanks, planes, boats etc rather than a bunch of stupid squishies.

Went in one day just because I was curious what they had and had the pleasure of meeting the owner! The owner was very friendly, discussing what kind of things I was into, making suggestions they had in store, and even recommended items not sold in their store I would be interested in! Clearly a very passionate individual who is actually interested in the items they sell. Shop itself was stocked with a variety of different items, with RC Cars, Gundam Kits, Pokemon kits, Legos, and other hobby items. Highly recommend if you’re into Kit hobbies, and definitely recommend meeting the owner for suggestions and recommendations!

(4.5🌟) Knowledgeable, friendly, good people all around. Pricing is reasonable, with maybe half a star knocked off for having their TCG product at "market price" (which is, more often than not, just scalper pricing) I mainly go here for the fantastic Gunpla selection, they've always got a nice variety of kits available. Highly recommend the place.

Went to the store looking for parts and information and left with both. Friendly knowledgeable helpful staff. Will definitely use as my go to hobby shop!
