Great selection of R/C,model trains,and all things hobby. Helpful friendly staff. Hobby nerd heaven. Definitely 5 star experience. Will be returning soon. Very competitive pricing with internet and you get see what you are buying. 👍

Had a really cool experience where I called ahead of the 35 minute drive to see if they had the exact product I needed. The guy on the phone lied to me, telling me they had it. I correctly identified the color of the product I was looking for and the text on the packaging, so there was no way to get it wrong. When I got there, found out they didn't have it, and asked for clarification, a manager interrupted the first employee to try to tell me I should have joined their discord to ask questions next time. How embarrasing. You're interrupting your employee who screwed up to try to get me to download an app where you can advertise to me. Didn't even try to apologize for wasting my time. Read the room dude. Afterwards, the employee admitted to me he was wrong and tried to call me back to let me know they didn't have it. If that were the case- 1. Why lie to me the first time? 2. Why do I have no missed calls from this store? I guess they won because they got my $6 which I spent on another type of superglue that I didn't want, but I was a repeat customer- and now I won't be returning.

This is a great store. I love going to hobby shops in person and I wish more of them were around. It is great to be able to go in and see the actual rc products you want to buy and get advice on your purchase instead of going to Amazon and just looking at a page and ordering online.

I’ve visited this Hobbytown location multiple times over the last year and have always had a great experience with the associates and customers alike. On my very first visit, I met JJ. He noticed I was interested in Gundam kits and went above and beyond—showing me the tools and paints I’d need and even helping me get plugged into the local builder community that meets right there at the store. That interaction turned a hobby into a passion and kept me coming back for build nights! When I wanted to host a "build night" at my job during the holidays, JJ helped me plan and order everything. He kept me updated on my special orders (as he does for everyone) and got my products in ahead of schedule. That level of service and genuine character is exactly why I returned to do my Christmas shopping for my siblings (and myself). Lately, I’ve pivoted from model kits to Pokémon collecting—and wouldn't you know it, Hobbytown has a great TCG selection. JJ is kind enough to alert our online groups as soon as stock is replenished, whether it's Gundam, Warhammer, or trading cards. Don’t get me wrong: the entire staff is kind, friendly, and fun. I’ve never had a negative experience here. But JJ’s dedication really sets this place apart.
