Hobbytown Castleton

I was looking for gunpla. Only about 12 to 15 models on shelf, not the very popular ones really. Didn't really have what I was looking for but they have a wider variety of car, train, and plane models. 4 stars because unless you want specific gunpla they probably have what you need. Staff was pleasent and didnt bother me.

Hobby Town used to be my go-to place. However, ever since Covid they absolutely refuse to stock the place. If you are looking for virtually anything, paints, tools, or accessories you find yourself facing empty racks upon empty racks. People bemoan how hobby shops are dying but judging Hobby Town’s lack of product it is easy to see why. I guess I could order stuff from them but why? Amazon has it and I can get it in a day or two.

Glad to see that HobbyTown is still going! I am a returning hobbyist and love to browse models and modeling supplies here. Very helpful staff as well. They can order most of the harder to find items.

This local hobby store has some of the best selection of Plamo and hobby supplies available. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience possible. Ive entered the store less than 5 times and the staff have started greeting me by name, and remember the hobbies I love and make sure to tell me of any new supplies they think I might be interested in! I've never experienced better customer service!

Best Hobby Shop in the State. Great selection of RC, trains, models, etc. Been coming here for years and never disappoints. Also neat to see new things coming out. Staff is very knowledgeable with friendly attitude toward newcomers.
