Hobby Vault

Absolutely lovely Local Game Store. Well stocked and clean, this store is incredibly welcoming with some regulars immediately helping me choose a faction and explain rules and procedures during their game of Warhammer 40k. The owner Jason was instrumental to helping me get into 40k - He was willing to take the time to talk through the factions, building and painting tips, and even made some thoroughly helpful recommendations. I am happy to be a customer here and will be returning for all my future Warhammer 40k and painting needs.

I wish I grabbed the name but I had a great experience. I’ve been to the store a few times and it’s great seeing cards on the shelves and at far better prices than GameStop. Also…. They let me purchase 1 specialty release pack and the owner had the integrity to say 1 per person which I love because everywhere else it’s like a battle royal with zero rules or integrity so for telling me no with an honorable reason I will be a new permanent customer at this location.

Hobby Vault is a nice local shop with a friendly, laid-back vibe. The store itself is on the smaller side and the selection isn’t huge, but what they carry is well chosen and easy to browse. Everything is organized, so you’re not digging through clutter or feeling overwhelmed. The staff is one of the best parts of the store. They’re helpful, easy to talk to, and clearly know what they’re doing. Whenever I’ve had questions, they’ve taken the time to explain things or point me in the right direction without trying to upsell anything. It feels very casual and comfortable, whether you’re new to the hobby or have been into it for years. Even with the smaller space, Hobby Vault does a good job creating a community feel. You’ll often see regulars stopping in, chatting, or picking up supplies, and it makes the shop feel welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you don’t mind hanging around for a few minutes and talking with other customers. Overall, Hobby Vault is a solid hobby shop. If you’re looking for a massive store with endless options, this may not be it, but if you want a clean, friendly place with good service and a thoughtfully chosen selection, it’s definitely worth checking out. I’ve always had a positive experience and will continue to come back.

First time here, I took my son (13) here for their Pokemon league challenge. He really enjoyed it and said the adults he challenged against really made him think. The store owner who was organizing the game was nice enough to give him some extra packs because he was the only senior division kid who showed up. I’m hoping more senior division kids will show up in the future. Overall, as a mom, I would recommend the organized games here. This place is next to a bunch of restaurants so we were able to grab a quick light meal afterwards.

Had a great experience today! It was a nice and relaxing environment, and everyone was so nice. I need to bring my son next time. Picked up Phantasmal Flames for Xmas gifts! We will be back!
