High Plains Dice and Games

Refused to negotiate on price of a clearly damaged card. If someone took the time to pull it out of their sleeve and check it they would see the flaws.. Tried to sell for full market value. Makes me wonder how many other people they have screwed over on pricing or trades?

Best Place in town to just hangout and play some fun game. They have MTG, Pokemon, Lorcana, and Warhammer stuff. They have tons of board games and dice. They have dog toys. Delicious chocolate bars, marchmellows and drinks. A very sweet community willing to show you how to play different games and play with you. They have a awesome game hall. You should definitely check it out! Best place in town for nerds and geeks alike!

It's nice to see a game store in Sterling and honestly it is very nice. The staff was very nice. I only wish they would remove the political vibes from the store. I won't hold it against them personally and they can decorate however they choose. Fun times don't need to include politics, just my opinion.

This store is not only a place to buy things but a place that offers a community. I have been coming to the store for over nine months, and it's been the first time in years I have found a place I can actually belong. The store owners are awesome and make a space that is inclusive to everyone, from kids to the older generations. You come in for one activity, and before you know it, you have your hands in a bunch of new activities with new friends and a feeling of belonging. It doesn’t matter if you are a novice just starting out on an adventure or a veteran of the games; everyone is always welcome here, and the vibes are spot on. They offer many free services in the building, such as game halls and board games you can play. Its a warm and welcoming environment that truly is a great place to invest your time in. The products here are constantly expanding and the community here is golden.

I have travelled the world while in the Air Force and have lived in 7 states and 3 countries. Everywhere I went I looked for a game store and nerd/geek community. I can say without reservation that High Plains Dice & Games is hands-down the best I have ever found. Alan and Shelby have truly created something special. The sheer amount of organized events is staggering: MTG, Pokemon, Lorcana, chess, board games, console game night, miniature painting, and, of course, D&D. If you haven't been there yet, it is worth stopping in just to say hi and see what is going on. And if you are interested in starting any of these activities you'll find helpful friendly people willing to help you learn. They even host a monthly D&D one-shot which is a perfect way to learn that amazing game. Sterling is lucky to have such a wonderful place.
