8/24/2026 I had an opportunity to visit both locations. I an absolutely excellent time at this location in contrast to my bad experience at the smaller location. The staff was friendly the store was clean, organized and well lit. I could have spent hours here. I received phenomenal help at the comics counter helping me find some key issues for my collection. I can’t recommend this this location enough. If you have to pick one to visit come to the San Antonio location the Universal City location isn’t worth it. I picked up an The Origin issue of The Ancient One Strange Tales 148

Manga, Pokémon, trading cards and everything in between. If your into these things, this is the spot. We stop here every time we're in San Antonio. The vast inventory and friendly customer service keeps us coming back.

Has a little bit of everything. From assorted toys, Pokémon cards, D&D, figures, novelty items, autographed memorabilia, and so much more. Well kept business. Great selection of comic books and graphic novels. If they don't have what you are looking for, they can order it. When placing an order, you have to put half down and pay for the rest upon arrival (or pay in full.)

Enjoyed free comic book day, and what a blast! This store is awesome already,but they had several venders/artist there too.

I'm from Arizona, just driving around the southwest for fun, decided to stop in this mega comics and everything else store. They have comics of all kinds, a very impressive signed and graded comics selection, signed comics, celebrity autographs, framed signed authenticated pictures, everything has authentication seals mostly from Beckett. There's a decent singles TCG selection with prices on each card. They have a huge gaming area where you can come here and play for free. Tons of good quality books and manga selection with complete sets. I absolutely loved their figures/figurines selection from both used and new. An impressive high quality figure selection, one of the best in the southwest USA, definitely on the shortlist. Prices were moderate overall, some were insane but given the size and rarity that is to be expected. An impressive Batman selection, and Star Wars everything! I loved walking around this entire store, high quality merchandise throughout. Some minor drawbacks- - Only two toilets in the men's restroom, given the size of this location, that seems small. - Some employees were stuck in their own lane and didn't seem to want to interact with anyone, the guy in the autograph section while seemingly friendly was not paying attention. If I'm going to potentially spend $550, you should ask me if I need help, not walk right by me (small gripe). --- Garrick talked with me for a moment, he is very friendly and approachable. I would say he's an allstar employee. Overall, 100% worth checking out. Drive out of your way to see Heroes & Fantasies.
