We're a family-owned and operated video game and trading card game store that's built around community. We host events almost every day, giving players of all ages a place to meet, compete, trade, and have fun. One of our biggest priorities is making sure kids have a welcoming environment where they can learn the games, build confidence, and enjoy the hobby alongside their families. We're also proud to support local artists, makers, and other members of our community by showcasing their work in our store. From retro gaming and modern consoles to Pokémon, Magic, Lorcana, and more, we've worked to create a shop that's more than just a place to buy things—it's a place where the local gaming community comes together.

Hall of Heroes is such a gem in this community. I'm so grateful we found them. The owners and employees are so kind, helpful, knowledgeable and I love that they bring the enthusiasm and champion your victories whether it's pulling a hit or finding a new card for your collection. It really does feel like going to visit friends when we pop in. I appreciate their stock of cards in both sealed and open product. We personally are primarily after Pokémon but they've got a lot of product. In addition to their well stocked shelves and cases, they also host really fun and really welcoming events for kids and adults. I'm a low key hobbiest with my husband just collecting for fun and don't play pokemon but we decided to pop in to a "trade and play" event just to see and were so pleasantly surprised with how much fun we had and really loved the kind of people their event drew in. There were kids and adults alike and everyone was so kind and happy to show off their collections and make trades to help each other out. We will definitely attend another event in the future. I think it's obvious by now but Hall Of Heroes is my favorite card shop in town and if you give them a try, I think they'll become yours too!

Lauren and her mother really made my visit a 10/10 experience. I’m in Charleston for my birthday and 100% recommend this business for anyone who’s into TCG. Fair prices and incredible staff/community. Also don’t be scared to get your binders engraved here, mine came out so cute and dainty!! So unfortunate they aren’t closer to my hometown.

By far the best family owned local card shop you can visit. Owners are a family and have a strong focus on Pokemon TCG & Retro Games. They've also got many items for sale especially for Pokemon TCG players with playable cards as well as cards for collectors. I love that they also hold many games from NES to current console games and systems. Staff have expanded out to have official Pokemon TCG Professors, occasional tournaments, and also have a nice cafe section in the back for you. They have such a great team to help you build your collection or build you a deck with many starter elements to keep you engaged. They're also hosting D&D in-game store sessions and are currently of the writing of this post taking sign ups for sessions.

If you’re into trading cards at any level, Hall of Heroes is hands down one of the best shops I’ve come across. Their pricing is not only fair, but they’re also willing to work with you, which is something you don’t see often anymore. On top of that, their trade-in rates are extremely competitive—honestly the best I’ve personally seen—which makes it a go-to spot if you’re looking to move or upgrade your collection. What really sets them apart though is their role in the community. They’re not just a shop—they’re a cornerstone of the local TCG scene. They consistently give back and create an environment that brings people together, especially for younger collectors who are just getting started. At the same time, they don’t forget about the more experienced crowd, hosting a wide range of events that keep everyone involved. The selection is solid and always expanding, so there’s almost always something new to check out. And the staff? Top tier. Super welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You never feel out of place walking in there. Overall, Hall of Heroes is the kind of shop every TCG community hopes to have—fair, growing, community-driven, and run by great people. Definitely worth your time.

This place is amazing. After leaving our second time attending a Pokémon trading event, my 15 year old literally said “that place restored my faith in humanity”. He can’t get over how nice everyone is and how they all helped him fill out his bingo card. The owners very kind and generous and overall the prices are very reasonable. I’d go here over ordering online any day.
