Came for the Deadlock LAN, such a fun time! Place was slammed both days, great screens, and the event staff was wonderful. Audio was hard to hear but expected when having this many people screaming lol. 10/10 will be back for the next LAN event!

**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our Go-To Event Venue in San Jose** This was our **second event** at Guildhouse, and once again they exceeded our expectations! After having such a great experience hosting our team winter celebration here, choosing Guildhouse again for our corporate training was an easy decision. For our winter celebration, the team helped set up two Mario Kart gaming stations, which were an absolute hit with everyone. We enjoyed great food, drinks, and an atmosphere that was fun, welcoming, and unlike any other event space. Most recently, we hosted a large corporate training, and Erika and Michael were incredible throughout the planning process. They were responsive, accommodating, and always willing to help with last-minute requests to ensure our event was a success. Their customer service truly sets Guildhouse apart. Whether you're planning a corporate meeting, training, holiday party, birthday celebration, or just a fun get-together with friends, I highly recommend Guildhouse. The space is versatile, the staff is amazing, and they genuinely care about making your event successful. We look forward to hosting many more events here in the future. An excellent social club in downtown San Jose with board games, video games, bar, food and more! We came here for the World Cup watch parties and stayed to play board games with friends. They have a huge game library with almost every board game you can think of, and the rental fee is very affordable. We had such a great time here! As for the cons? Surprisingly, none. I genuinely love this place and can’t think of anything to complain about. If you’re looking for a fun place to hang out, just head to Guildhouse and enjoy the vibe

Guildhouse is a DTSJ gem! Very clean space, lots of drink options, and the curators are very knowledgeable and helpful when selecting games. I also love the new-ish checkout system for the board games. It gives the best of both worlds: it has the same casual, third place vibe while being organized and keeping games in great condition. They also have video games, PC games, TTRPG meetups, and other special events for game lovers. If you’re looking for a sense of community and you love games, Guildhouse is your spot.

FYI: Food purchases DO count for comping the hourly rate for PC gaming! The first set of staff who took me and my friends' orders comped the hrs with our food orders. But the next set of staff that came in later didn't know food counted and denied one of my friends the hourly comp. I made another food purchase and almost didn't get comped my 3rd hr either. Thankfully another staff member did confirm them after I brought this to their attention, though there seems to be some confusion. The website could state that both food and drink purchases count to help things be more clear for staff and customers. The "bar" is just any place you place a food/drink order (there is the regular bar for drinks and mocktails and then the food counter to place orders for food and non-alcoholic drink) not just alcoholic beverages. Awesome place to play League of Legends IRL with friends! Food is fantastic. Also love the burnt almond cookies - super buttery and chewy. Got the Strawberry Sunset mocktail. Very pretty, but too sweet and sour for me. Got a glass of plain sparkling water to dilute it with.
