Great Escape Games

Always Great customer service and Great product knowledge at Great Escape Games. Their large gaming spaces are great to play board, card and RPGs. Also a great spot to grab some snacks/drink, read a good litrpg book and browse games and minis in between chapters.

I'm so happy to finally find a truly Great games store. Staff are very helpful and respectful. Not once did i feel pressured into buying anything or felt rushed out the door. Plenty of single cards and sealed. The amount of board games they have available is close to awe inspiring. Plenty of paints and figurines for warhammer. Mtg nights are a safe place.

Wow, I was very surprised at the experience that I had today. All I wanted to do was play some DnD. It had been a while. The staff was super helpful with registering and were also extremely friendly. The company stole the show though, the people playing there were all so kind, welcoming, helpful and some of the best GMs and players that I have had the pleasure. Thank you all for making my day bright.

By far the best Local Game Store in Sacramento. Big location. Super friendly and approachable staff. Each a gamer themselves. They host gaming events daily, ranging from MTG, SW Legion, D&D to massive 40k tournaments and even a Chess night. Giant gaming area for these events. They even have occasional swap meets. I feel blessed to have them right here in Sacramento, plus, they have a second location in Rocklin. Open your imagination, Roll Initiative and get in there!!

I absolutely love this place! It’s the perfect spot for board game lovers. Not only can you buy a huge variety of games here, but you can also rent them for up to 3 months — and the rental price is just $5! It’s such a great way to try out different games without spending too much. My friends and I always have the best time discovering new games together. Highly recommend this store to anyone who enjoys board games as much as we do!
