Great Escape Comics & Games

While I was in Atlanta for training to be a railroad conductor, I stopped by to see if this store had some books I needed and they definitely did. I was able to add a few more Steel (DC 1994) books I needed to almost complete the entire run. Everyone was friendly and I enjoyed visiting the store twice

Amazing store, had a great time checking everything out and it has such a diverse amount of options. Tommy was at the register and he was the absolute goat. He did a phenomenal job and helped my friends and I out. He deserves a raise‼️

Everything was nice and there was a lot of cool stuff to look at and choose from. Customer service was very lacking, which isn't something I usually notice. The two people at the register seemed more interested in their own conversation than the customers in the store. My friend who was there with me tried to talk to one of them and was brushed off. It's not enough to make me not want to come back, but employees at a hobby and comic store should be more engaging with their customers

I can say that this place now holds the record for my largest comic book purchase as of today. Thanks to Charles I was able to finally purchase The Amazing Spiderman issue 4. I just wanna say while it was a complete chance encounter I realize how rare that book is now. I can also say that have a very nice assortment of everything from Pokémon to comic books and other TCG games. With that being said I would recommend this place every time if you're looking for some comics from any age or major key issues.

If you're a comic or manga enthusiast, Great Escape Comics and Games in Marietta, GA, is an absolute must-visit! This store is a treasure trove for fans of all things geeky and collectible. Their comic inventory is truly impressive, offering a great selection of both new releases and back issues. I was thrilled to discover their "Just Acquired" bins, where I scored some fantastic Silver Age and Bronze Age comics at amazing prices—definitely a highlight of my visit. Beyond the comics, they also boast a solid Manga inventory section. But what really caught my eye was their toy stock—they have some incredibly cool and hard-to-find collectibles that you won't easily come across elsewhere. It’s a hidden gem for toy collectors, for sure. Whether you're a local or visiting the Atlanta area, making the trip up I-75 to Great Escape is absolutely worth the effort. Their selection, atmosphere, and friendly staff make this a standout spot for comic lovers and collectors alike. I can’t recommend it enough! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
