I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience absolutely deserves one. From the moment I walked into Good Game Collectibles, I was impressed by how clean, welcoming, and well-kept the shop was. I was immediately greeted by the owner, who provided some of the best customer service I’ve ever received. He went out of his way to help me, took the time to educate me about Pokémon, and even brought out his own personal binder to help me complete a page in mine. That level of generosity and kindness is rare, and it speaks volumes about the character behind this business. As a war veteran, I deeply value selflessness and service, and his willingness to share part of his own collection truly stood out to me. The store itself has a great selection of Pokémon and Magic cards, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The regulars were also welcoming and willing to help, even offering to teach new players and let them borrow cards. On top of all that, the owner has even fed me on multiple occasions, which says a lot about the kind of person he is. I drive from Long Beach almost every day and pass several other shops just to come here, because the experience is that good. Good Game Collectibles is an outstanding shop with excellent service, a great selection, and a genuinely positive community. I highly recommend it.

I initially came by this shop based off a friend's recommendation as I had just started playing the Pokemon TCG and was looking for a nice place to play. I was immediately blown away by how sharp the shop looked, how clean and organized everything was, and how convenient it was that everything had prices on them so I didn't have to ask anyone how much things cost. I've been playing Pokemon there for a few months now, and everyone has been very friendly to me, as well as new and veteran players alike. The Magic scene has also been growing as well, so it's been fun dusting my old commander decks off and playing them with different people. A small perk of their location is just how many different things there are within walking distance to the store. Want something to drink? There's a CVS and Albertsons a few stores down. Getting hungry? Bam! Carl's Jr., Ginzaya (Japanese food), Starbucks, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Cold Stone and more within the shopping center. There's even Hall of Tech next door that help with computers too, as well as an AMC if you want to kill some time until your show time. Everyone is very friendly and approachable, and they're always happy to help people learn new games. If there aren't any tournaments going on, they have tables that my friends and I can sit at and play, and one of the best parts: no table fees! I've come in and hung out and played different card games with friends, and had a blast. This shop has become my favorite card store lately, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area. It has a local charm about it where it feels like it's been part of the community for years despite being relatively new (as of me writing this). If you ever find yourself in the area, stop in and see if it's a fit for you!

My wife and I stumbled upon this place while we were in the area. We’re both big nerds, so we’re always on the lookout for new shops to check out. The staff here are what make it special. We met Juan and Kevin, who are both really chill, knowledgeable guys. The owner, Juan, puts out a nice selection of Pokémon cards for reasonable prices. This includes Japanese/Korean language versions, and affordable singles. They also have a ton of cool models and merch for sale, also at reasonable prices. We also saw Gundam kits, D&D books, dice and card supplies. There are tables near the back of the store for folks to come in and play, and they have regular card tournaments. Great vibes and staff. Highly recommend this place! We’ll be back for sure!

The owner Juan is a very nice guy with reasonable prices. I found this place from a lady who goes to our church. He donated pokemon cards to children for Halloween. It was a nice gesture, and it seems like a small mom and pop business so i love to support people like Juan. My son is 7 and loves going there. They have cool figures and pokemon cards etc and it is a safe family friendly spot to go to. Definitely would recommend this place.

I'm so glad to have a card show so close to work. Good Game has an incredibly friendly staff who are great to talk to about the hobby. The prices are fair, the people are great and you should definitely stop buy and support a small business.
