Golden State TCG

I go here on my lunch breaks sometimes. The staff here is always extremely friendly and great conversation-havers. Very helpful as well. The store is always clean whenever I drop by and because it's usually in the middle of the day during a workweek, not too busy, perfect to shop around at my leisure.

Great store with great staff. A good selection of Pokémon product and singles. My only gripe, and it's not that big, but for someone who shops like me, it was a little annoying (there's a lot of me's out there), with the singles, it would help A LOT if they marked the condition on the price tags for the lower condition cards. I was there on a Saturday, and the place was packed. I wanted to look at about 50+ cards, but I had to wait for the guy to help other people (understandable, I'm not the only one there), but when id finally get him to come around the counter to the display case, id point out 4 or 5 cards, then look at them, only to find the backs on half were in LP to MP condition, which is a hard pass for me. While im doing this, 3 other people are asking him for help, and I then let him go help them. Then I have to wait my turn again, check another 5 and the same thing with a few, LP to MP for some. Now I'm not saying all their cards are bad condition, but I tend to look at older cards, which are more likely to not be in perfect condition like modern. I still bought like 10 cards of the 25 I looked at, but I still didn't look at about 25 more cards I wanted to check, because I felt like dude was probably annoyed with me saying "I'll pass on that", and then having to put them back and arrange them, all while people asked him for help somewhere else. If they just had an LP or an HP on those cards I passed on, it would have saved both of us so much time. Its an easy fix that other stores implement, and it makes everything flow so much smoother. Other than that, it was a great store with a great vibe, especially for families, and I'd suggest it to anybody.

This place is amazing! They are super chill here. It is a very family-friendly, queer-friendly environment, and a knowledgeable staff. Brandon and Kevin make us feel very welcome! Great prices, great selection. They buy and sell Pokémon!

First time coming here and the staffs were very friendly and helpful. Good amount of selections and pricing. Very spacious area. Would recommend.

Recently started getting into the whole Pokémon card collecting, and I found this store that was surprisingly not very far. The staff in the store were genuienly amazing; they were nice, and understanding towards and were surprisingly really patient. They also helped guide us into getting started with card collecting. The store has both $1 and $3 bins which you can go into especially if you're someone starting out with the whole card collecting, its a nice and cheap way to get into it! Overall, and really neat and cool place to go to if you're getting into card collecting, or are already into it! The staff here is really nice and gave some pretty neat advice. I will definitely come here again, probably the best service I've had in a while!
