Geek Out Mansfield

Very helpful. My special needs son runs them ragged for Yugioh stuff and they help him all the time! Great folks!

I liked that Geek Out tries to prevent scalping by breaking seals on Pokémon products. But after several drops with friends, we never pulled anything good—no IRs, nothing. It makes you wonder if packs are weighed or scanned. It’s a cool idea, but I’d prefer they break the seal in front of you at the store to avoid doubts. Cool concept, just needs more transparency. Update: I appreciate the owner responding. My point wasn’t to accuse the store of anything directly, just that breaking seals before customers arrive can create doubts for buyers. Breaking the seal in front of the customer would solve that and make the process feel more transparent.

Cool place, definitely an interesting selection! Lots of empty space which was actually nice because we could move around and not get super crowded. But it was clear a restock might be needed. Lots of empty shelves so I was a little disappointed in this trip. But I'm sure I'll be back again!

Initial google search says they have baseball and basketball cards. Went in today and asked about hockey cards & the guy behind the counter laughed & said no, we don’t have sports cards. Then proceeded to talk to his co-worker (who was a grown man wearing a blue wizard hat) about how the event that the city was putting on across the street needed to end so people like me would stop coming in. Kinda seemed like a cool place that had some other stuff I might be interested in, but likely won’t go back after that

This huge store has everything tabletop and more. Miniatures, RPGs, board games, TCGs, paints, figures, manga and tons of play space. I highly recommend checking it out- staff are friendly and helpful!
