Gate City Games

Very kind and helpful staff came in and the owner was so nice and even spent an hour with herself, another staff and a community member to teach me the basics of magic will definitely be going back had a great time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **An Amazing Game Store & Community in Pocatello!** I had the pleasure of visiting **Gate City Games** in Pocatello for the first time after a friend invited me to play **Magic: The Gathering**, and I can honestly say I was blown away. From the moment I walked through the door, I was welcomed like I'd been part of the community for years. The staff and players were incredibly friendly, making it easy to jump into the fun. The play space is HUGE—plenty of room for tournaments, casual games, and meeting fellow gamers. Their selection is incredible. Whether you're into **Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, board games, trading card games, tabletop games, or RPGs**, they seem to have just about everything you could imagine. I picked up a brand-new Commander deck along with some sleeves, and to top it off, they gave me a sturdy card storage box to keep everything safe on the trip home. That small gesture really showed how much they care about their customers. What impressed me most wasn't just the inventory—it was the atmosphere. Gate City Games isn't just a game store; it's a place where people connect, build friendships, and enjoy the hobbies they love. I'm excited to make this my new Thursday night hangout, and I have a feeling I'll be spending even more time here. If you're looking for the **best local game store in Pocatello**, an incredible selection of **Magic: The Gathering cards and accessories**, or an inviting place to enjoy tabletop gaming, I can't recommend Gate City Games enough. See you all next Thursday!

Went back in for the first time in a long while and it was a looooot better than the last time I went. Owner is super cool, and the staff are nice. I would definitely recommend coming here for gaming stuff locally.

The staff here is incredible and the new changes they made inside make it even better. Quality products and a lot of fun stuff to choose from! Highly recommend spending a fun afternoon here playing cards or playing DnD!

Great place to play. Though, the group is hit or miss. I have had a few players bring a competitive deck to a casual pod. But as for the store, plenty of room to play. Only, only drawback, needs more singles to pick from. And the selection of board games could be more. But still great.
