I went into the GameStop in Tukwila to pick up my copy of Madden 27, I have to say I was taken back by how well I was treated by one of the employees at this GameStop his name was Jesse he was beyond helpful and professional! As it turns out he was the manager, I guess lead by example and his example was a ten out of ten. Don’t take my word for it go into the Tukwila GameStop you’ll see what I’m talking about the customer service in next level!

Came in the store to ask about a really rare game that I was willing to purchase and while speaking to Jessie he just walked away from me to go and talk to two of his friends while I was speaking to him and his friends even said "oh man you were just dealing with the customer" and Jessie nonchalantly disregarded me like I was nothing this has started to happen a lot lately and I'm not one to pull the race card but this has been kind of hard to ignore... but if the district manager could watch the video tape from August 4th 2026 11:15 a.m. - 11:30a.m. Im the black man in the white T-Shirt... you'll see that I re-entered the store to get Jessie's name so that I could leave this detailed review... until I am assured that something happens to Jessie and his employment at GameStop I will not spend another dollar with the company. I live abroad and I shop at a handful of places when I come to the states and GameStop WAS one of them.

There phone does not work, but store is nice and big. A lot of breathing room and well stocked. There phone does not work which makes canceling a online order a nightmare, but the staff were nice and I felt like I could walk around and browse without knocking something over. Dont make online orders here though

My husband and I came to this location, and bought a couple of shirts. When my husband asked about a certain Pokemon, we were a bit indecisive of purchasing due to price. (Mind you no one else no was in line, but understanding if the cashier does need to finish other task). We are pro members, after purchasing and reviewing the receipt my husband notice no discounts was taken off- under pro membership, we are given $5 off every month. My husband kindly ask about the concern of the discounts- Immediately, the employee who wears rainbow glasses, AJ (don’t know if this is her actual name or abbreviated) gave us an attitude and responded “You need to look it up yourself. I don’t have access to the system anymore. They change it 2 weeks ago” Ok…? How are we supposed to know that, if someone like us hardly go the store? Email? Honestly if you have subscriptions, would you read them? We step aside to let the next person check out, while we look up the change. The employee notified them in a nicer and calm tone to the next customer, who also ask about the discount. After we found the coupon on our phone, my husband then show the cashier which then she reply with “I need ID”. I get it, if so many people ask about this same situation, it would be annoying. However, the store does not promote the change, there are no signs about it, and the attitude of display about the change was unnecessary. Game stop, Managers, and AJ do better.

Came in today with my family for my sister’s birthday to buy a 3DS charger, and unfortunately we had a really negative experience with the employee wearing rainbow glasses. I’ve worked retail myself, so I completely understand how stressful customer service can be and how difficult customers sometimes make the job. Because of that, my family and I always make an effort to be respectful and patient with retail and service workers. We initially purchased a charger set for $12.99 after it was shown to us, but afterward noticed there was a single 3DS charger available for $9.99, which better fit what we actually needed. Since we only needed one charger, we asked to do a simple exchange so someone else could potentially purchase the set. What really surprised me was the attitude we received over what should have been a straightforward exchange. My sister was told she needed a Washington State ID, but she only had a military ID issued in Washington, so we were understandably confused about the policy and whose ID needed to be used. We fully understand store policies, but the situation could have been explained respectfully instead of with hostility and impatience. Either my mom or I could have provided our Washington IDs had that simply been communicated kindly. It was disappointing to be treated this way, especially on my sister’s birthday, when we had been polite and considerate throughout the interaction. I genuinely hope the employee was just having a rough day, because no customer deserves to be spoken to or treated with that level of rudeness.
