GameStop - 790 - North Canton

Employee was extremely rude and everything in the store is extremely overpriced. I also feel like they never actually have what your looking for

Signed me up for their pro bullcrap without my consent when I was helping my elderly father buy a switch 2 last year. Just learned about it because I just got charged for a renewal.

I stopped for only a few minutes to pick up something small. Once I was there I overheard the cashier and a customer talking about the new Lego Batman. Hearing them talk made me feel welcomed because every Gamestop cashier has always welcomed customers so well. Once I brought the things to the register me and the cashier talked for a bit then I left. Overall 3 stars because he was very nice and welcomed me.

Feels like I’ve been going more frequent lately. Maybe every other weekend (could be very weekend if I’m looking for something specific) Everyone is always kind and just seem happy to be there, especially one specific guy. I didn’t catch his name, but we see the same worker pretty much every time we are there. He’s is always happy to help and just great! Even if we can’t find what we’re looking for, it’s always a pleasant experience!

My experience at this GameStop started out pretty typically. It was a very small location so it was easy to find the section I wanted but they didn't have what I was looking for in a shelf. The guy at the register looked up other locations inventory and gave me a sheet but then a woman came over and said they had it in another drawer. This guy digs behind boxes that were stacked everywhere and finds what she had referred to, but it wasn't the right thing. When I told her it wasn't the correct version of the game I was looking for, she argued with me saying it was the only version until I Googled it and showed her that it was in fact not the only version and was not the one I wanted. She said I should check Best Buy (not sure how corporate would feel about her directing customers to a competitor 🤷🏽‍♀️) I was all too happy to leave that store knowing it is far from my home and I won't have to go back ever again. 2 stars instead of one because the young gentleman who helped me was very kind and tried his best to help.
