The selection of games and merchandise is pretty solid, and the staff is friendly and helpful when you need advice. However, I've noticed that the prices can be a bit higher than what you'd find online, and the store can get crowded, making it tough to browse comfortably. Overall, a decent place for gamers, but it's worth checking for deals before you buy.

Decent selection of games and collectibles, with knowledgeable staff who are usually helpful. However, I've noticed that the store can get pretty crowded and disorganized at times, making it hard to find what I'm looking for. Overall, it's a solid spot for gamers, just expect a bit of chaos during peak hours.

I’ve given this location multiple chances, and every single visit has been frustrating due to unhelpful and uninformed staff. After years of buying games online, I decided to stop by in March and was pushed to sign up for GameStop Pro. The employee barely explained the benefits, but mentioned the $5 monthly reward and said it would activate within 24 hours. Sounded simple enough. I came back the next day—well past 24 hours—and the reward wasn’t available. No explanation. Fine, I let it go. A few weeks later, I returned to exchange some joystick accessories (wrong system, unopened aside from a small cut in the corner). I was told it violated policy—okay, whatever. But again, my monthly $5 reward STILL wasn’t showing up, and the employee had no clue why. Now fast forward to April. At this point, I should have at least one, if not two rewards available. I go in again to buy a game and some accessories. First issue: the game case is on the shelf, but the actual disc is missing because it was apparently already sold. No one bothered to remove it. Sloppy. Then I ask again ask a bout my monthly reward. Once again, the employee has no answer. This time, he actually tells me that the 2% Pro discount “counts as using” the $5 reward. That is completely false and not stated anywhere in the terms. It felt like he was just making something up because he didn’t know. To make things worse, there’s usually only one employee working. On a busy weekend, I watched a line pile up while the single employee slowly handled a full console trade-in, with another register just sitting there unused. No urgency, no multitasking. The most frustrating part? I later checked online and my reward was there the whole time. So not only is the system inconsistent, but the staff clearly doesn’t understand how it works. At this point, I won’t be returning to this location. The GameStop Southcenter location is significantly better run. This store seriously needs better training, staffing, or both.
