GameStop - 6977 - College Park Plaza

These reviews must be old cuz that store does NOT deserve to be 4 stars with the staff the currently have…. I came in around 7 there was no greeting upon entry. there was a girl behind the counter sitting in a chair that acted like I didn’t exist, I was the only customer there the other gentleman that works there greeted me about 5 min after being in the store. No help was offered. When I went to make a purchase they mislead u with information so u can’t use your points. I was told the website doesn’t give u the points and the app “sometimes works”. I still went on the website and asked for assistance on getting to my points page n was refused the assistance. He just said it won’t work.. after about 5 min of me trying I figured it out… completely horrible service will never go back there again, I will also be ucanceling my membership with you guys.

I called to see if they had cyberpunk 2077 for a PS4 they said yes we have I went and got it and the RIG 300 PRO HC 3D AUDIO HEADPHONES Real nice!!!!

I was really bummed out with my experience today . Shaylee was the only employee working and seemed very irritated. We asked her the price on a couple items and she just seemed extremely annoyed . It’s really upsetting when you want to purchase items but seem like you’re bothering the employee for asking a simple question such as , can you check the price on this ? She was seated down most of the time and when we wanted to purchase trading cards we had to ask her to unlock them and she was just super annoyed . We wanted to get more trading cards but she was super quick to sit back down that we just decided to get what we had . I understand employees may have a bad day but customer service is still very important .

Went in to buy a pack of magic cards. There were 5 or 6 employees in the store and the entire store was trashed from top to bottom. There was product and trash over every surface. All the employees were talking so loudly they were all basically yelling and every other word was a cuss word, I cuss a lot but this was insanely excessive. I grabbed one pack of cards and stood behind the employees who were blocking both counters. It took them 5 minutes to realize I was there and it took another 2 to 3 minutes for the employee behind the counter to stop what he was doing. He rang up the pack and then started loudly proclaiming the keypad was broken. I just said nevermind and walked out. I will never step foot in here again. An absolute disgrace.

Employee was very helpful. He answered some questions. This older person here wanted to play classic games that are hard to get help me navigate what I need to do which was buying a combination of stuff from GameStop and some stuff from Amazon refurbished options I will be a GameStop person for future stuff for gifts or anything like that. That was a pleasant experience and I wish I knew the employee’s name. It was an older gentleman not a kid.
