GameStop - 6908 - Wilkes Plaza

According to my granddaughter the GameStop in Wilksboro is by far the best stocked, most organized & cleanest shes been to. All the workers were extremely friendly & helpful.

Went in asking for a headset for the Xbox guy said this one will work it was a 99$ headset I took his word it was a razor barracuda x it does not work for Xbox so I took it back to the same guy had it 20 mins he said sorry can’t take it back or give you a refund just said it’s policy and walked away

Went into Gamestop today to exchange a $69.99 controller for one of equal value and apparently equal value meant giving me an ice breaker controller that has a sticker saying it cost $69.99 then charging me $80.00 online for it instead of the sticker price of $69.99, and it getting the two year warranty put back on made it 33.53. Do not shop at the store at 1819 US Hwy 421 Wilkesboro, NC. This is the clcontroller in store they charged $80.00 online price for in store even without the sticker visible.

Edit: went to Walmart they let me buy a case unlike GameStop and it was cheaper to boot! Awful experience, I came in looking for a case for my switch looked like there was a couple of GameStop cases that might work I have the nitro deck for my OLED switch. Cashier said I can't try them because she wouldn't be able to put the packaging back on so I take my money elsewhere. Sure I could've been difficult and buy to return. Smh you will not get a penny from me. This is why I don't shop at GameStop

Very nice employee! Went above and beyond. I was so touched by our encounter I forgot to get his name. He helped me with a special memorial gift for my friend's son, Zion Gibbs, a 7 year old shot while in his home playing video games by a drive by bullet gone astray in Fayetteville, NC. #Justiceforzion. A very heartfelt thank you to this employee. There are still kind people in this world!
